Thanks guys for the inclusion. Nordicguy, mine is opposite. My pump is sitting behind but way up high. Another week or so when I can soak, I need to start pulling done to position better.
Having scars already from RP, I am not too concerned about the second incision for the resivoir.
Hoper to hear more from your journey.

Nordicguy, Welcome to the Bionic Brotherhood!

We're almost twins too, I got the 18cm AMS LGX with 3cm rear tips and the MS pump back in 2021, so in one month it will be 4 years for me.

Before long you'll be using your new Bionic Weapon! :D

Just reach out when you want or need help, hopefully we will have some answers for you,

I don’t understand why the doc didn’t cut with the line on your sack. Why would he make a perpendicular cut?

Thanks Jgoody, Happy Toy, slckgg, SWorks, ElbowRoom!

slckgg and Craigohbig, I'm not sure why the urologist chose to make a horizontal cut to be honest, but I'm not worried about it. If I had to guess, it was probably more convenient for the doc, maybe for better access and suturing etc. Or maybe this is just one of those things that separates the high-volume doctors from the rest. In my post-op journal there's also an explanation about making a pocket for the pump below the skin. Whatever the case, the scars don't really bother me, as I'm mostly happy to just have my function back. :)

Boatdrinks, I'm happy with the placement of the pump - it's very easily accessible and feels like I can maneuver it around quite easily. It's actually resting on the bottom of my scrotum basically. Still early days though, and I don't want to disturb the healing process, so I haven't played with it too much yet.

ElbowRoom, I'm happy with how it turned out myself, too. Good luck with your operation next Tuesday! Rooting for ya!

SWorks, it feels so great to have reached this point on this journey. The wife and I can't wait to start experimenting with the new toy! :D

It is written here somewhere that their surgeon cuts horizontally as their belief is there is less nerve damage.
Just food for thought.

Upnorth, as I just had the same exact surgery as Nordicguy, I can say I have zero numbness so if that’s the case, I am happy with the cut :)

Nordicguy, question for you on preop size as we just had the same exact implant. I am just hoping to get back to that size as it seems a bit shorter. I am not inflated though so thoughts on if it comes out more when inflated?
