Distal length

Just started cycling process yesterday, at five weeks and two days after the implant. Just copy / pasting some info I posted elsewhere.

Just prior to the operation I gobbled a few (too many) Cialis and I measured around 5.5L and 5.0G. Just to make things more confusing I woke up later that night (phantom wood?) and measured just under 6.0L and 5.25G.

On day zero of cycling process, I managed to get 5.25L and 5.0G.

I was also told that my distal length pre op was 15cm (about 5.9 inches).

Today, day one, back home, I measured 5.5L and just under 5.25G. I think I managed to get a few more pumps in after I had bent my dick in a few directions from the base than I did the very first day. It also stands pointing north at around 2pm on the clock if that makes sense.

To me in a simplistic sense the numbers all add up. I would be happy over a period of time to end up being just under 6 inches in length. This correlates to my distal length and pre op measurements (that varied a bit).

I will consider myself luck and be happy if I get back to somewhere close to what I was originally.

Who told you that your distal length pre-op was 5.9 inches? I thought Dr Love only takes measurements during the surgery?

Sorry for the confusion. The 15 cm (5.9inch) distal measurement was what I understood he took in the operation theatre. (I guess ‘during op’would be more accurate description than saying ‘pre op’) 15 plus 9 (the internal measurement) added up to 24, the length of my cylinders.
Can you see how the numbers add up and make sense to me. Or it could just be a case of me listening and hearing things that I want to hear.

Looking at your pre op size of 6 and 7 week size of 5.5, I can’t see any reason why you won’t get back to 6 inches (or very close to it ) with a few more weeks (maybe months of cycling),

I’ve seen a lot of guys on here with 13-14cm distal lengths reach 6” so I would imagine with 15cm you’d be closer to 6.5”-7” given it doesn’t take into account the size of the glands. Unless Dr. Love measures us differently.

I hear what you say and if it happened I wouldn’t complain but….. I would be more than happy if I ended up somewhere between 5.5 and 6 inches. A dick no matter what length that works is better than having a dick that doesn’t work.

Also I recall in my younger days I reckon I was lucky to ever reach 6 inches. If you can understand football terminology I was a bit like a Collingwood 6 footer. Called myself 6 inches long but most likely was a wee bit smaller.

Time will tell. I plan to update my L & G profile a few times on Frank Talk so I have a record of what actually happened. Guessing key dates will be along the lines of 1 month , 3 months, 6 months and then finally at I year.

In terms of Dr Love perhaps measuring us differently I would suggest it would be more likely that I heard things incorrectly. I am very happy that I went to him.

I take measurements by not pressing against the bone. I actually don’t have much fat down there and I don’t think it would make much difference if I pressed against the bone. Secondly, because I had the procedure via infra pubic area I would not be keen to press too hard.

I am guessing if someone was a bit on the chunky side and they wanted to gain some length all you would have to do is lose some tummy fat?

I am quite lean, during my leanest moments when i had a six pack and very low fat, i could still get extra 2cm measurement by pressing the ruler against the bone. So yes it can make a big difference. If you stick your penis into a vacuum pump that difference can go all the way up to 5cm. So really measurements depend a lot on how you measure.

Yep, 24 plus 1. The concept of pressing to the bone is new to me. I get it that you would tend to get a more consistent reading. The other way (just against the skin) I understand that if you put on weight you lose a bit of length and so on.

To me when I was young (in my twenties I guess) when I measured up it was definitely taken against the skin. To be honest I most likely took a measurement from the top (the normal way) and from the bottom (near the nut sack) looking for the longer measurement. Fancy that!

I know pre op I was around 5 to say around 6 at the very best. If I end up around that (give or take a cm) and HARD I will be happy. Right now because I am just into week one of cycling I’m trying to get my head around the pain during and a little while after the cycling process. It may look good but it does not at all feel pleasurable. I am looking forward to pleasure slowly trumping pain in the coming weeks.
