What do you tell work?

Hey guys, I'm due to have a penile Implant in the future.

Would like some advice, what do I tell work?

Would the surgeon write a note but keep it hush hush?

I put in for vacation. Other than needing time off they don’t need to know.
I came back and wore sweatpants for eight weeks, typically I wear jeans, people made comments about my clothing and tried to ask but I just ignored some, a couple I just said you don’t want to know.
I wouldn’t sweat over it. Is what it is.

I just said I had an outpatient procedure. Glad they didn’t ask probing questions about my personal health information. Always happy to show and tell.

It’s absolutely illegal in the USA to give out medical info to other employees by the company. If they did you would have a sure fire law suit cabinet them. I told anyone that had no busy knowing either nothing or that it was a hernia repair. Either way it isn’t anybody’s business

Tell them you’re having abdominal surgery and are requesting the time off the doctor suggested. They can’t legally ask for more detail than that.

I said "old guy plumbing thing" and nobody asked any more questions. I suspect they mostly assumed it was hernia or hydrocel or something like that, if they even thought that much about it. The reaction seemed to be, "Okay, so personal. Got it."

If you are taking sick time saying you are having hernia surgery is a benign, non-embarrassing thing.

If you are taking personal time or vacation time there is no need to tell anyone anything. If anyone would ask where you are going on vacation I’d say I was having a staycation, just relaxing at home.

I used vacation time so I didn’t say anything. I just had time off. No one batted an eye.

Thanks guys, I'm really nervous and excited. I was surprised he even offered it, I suffer from lifelong premature ejaculation and ED. So when I used Viagra etc, the occasional times it would get hard ,Id cum super quick and it'd go down super quick.

This combo has been a curse!!
