Implants in Phoenix area
Hey Fellas, curious if there is anyone in the Phoenix area that has had an implant. If so by what dr? I have had appointments with Dr blick and Dr latowsky. May be a stretch finding someone on here. Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Also if anyone has had any issues with floppy head after procedure? We discussed that today and that has raised some concerns for me. Such a big decision to make as im sure for all of you but any help would be appreciated.

Use the search function on the word Phoenix. There is an 80 yo member that posts frequently. He seem to be very happy.
Floppy head can happen from being under sized. Two likely causes. One, an inexperienced surgeon. Two, the dr runs into some fibrosis tissue. Not realizing the he is getting a false measurement or he does not know how to cut through it. This is why we constantly harp on finding a skilled dr.
Undersize is super easy to tell just a few days after surgery. At my first visit. My drs assistant (woman) placed both of her thumbs on the head of my dick. Quickly announced that I was sized right because my cylinder tips were nicely into my glans.
Despite what you hear about implants. The right dr can accurately size almost every man. You should be asking your dr on how he deals with the two scenarios that I described. If he can't give you a good answer quickly then he doesn't know. Move on, your not his practice dummy. Remember, there is no shortage of good implant drs in most markets now days.
Good luck.

I used Dr Avila of Ironwood Urology in Ahwatukee.
The sizing and surgery went flawlessly.
No floppy glans and even gained a little size.
Follow-up left a bit to be desired, but since I had no issues, it didn't matter.
I've heard good things about Dr Blick also. but he seems to aggressively recruit patients.

Thank you for your feedback. Good questions to ask. I feel like this is one the hardest decisions ive ever had to make, guess there is some level of fear of the unknown involved.

Thank you. I appreciate your response. Ive already been doing a ton of research for months now as my insurance had already approved it. Just a really hard decision to make it guess fear of something going wrong down there and no turning back. Just want to find the right dr. Dr blick was very nice and knowledgeable but yes no hesitation on his part to do the surgery. He recommended the ams700 cx I believe. Dr latowsky does the titan and told me today that with that one you can definitely feel it when flaccid compared to the ams

Azchris, yes. It has to rate very high on the hardest decision list of your life. Been there, done that, got the implant to show for it. I don't know how much of FT that you've read. But you'll see a common comment of "I should of done it sooner".
It is a bit easier than you might think. Find a dr that you're comfortable with. Be sure that he has done a lot of surgeries. Bonus points if he studied under another high volume implant dr. Gently ask how he would handle some unexpected situations during surgery. Of course you'll already have a good idea on how it should be done before asking. Try to find out if he uses the newer anti infection methods. The "one touch" is a big protocol. Basically most things only touch you once. Less chance of moving germs around on/in you.
My dr required a urine test a few days before the surgery. Looking for bladder/urine infections. I had a very minor bug that required some antibiotics. Then a followup test to make sure the bug was gone. He gave me a full bag of iv solution during surgery. Quite literally shooed me home asap. Said right up front that hospitals are full of germs.

Re: Implants in Phoenix area
When I talked to Dr Avila, I mentioned what size I was and he said he'd measure on the table. He seems to have done that flawlessly.
I asked for the scrotal surgery, and he asked me why I wanted that. I told him I thought it might be less invasive. I don't know if that's true, but I was happy to see that he did it for me. I think it takes a bit more skill to insert the reservoir that way, but it turned out great and I never have known where it is.
He also said he refuses to implant more that 15cm using the LGX. I wanted that but got the CX. It's actually fine and I can't complain. I had a small amount of glans discomfort after activating, but I think that due to mildly aggressive sizing, and I was at lifelong size right off the bat. Since then, I've picked up a bit more.

Thank you for the info bro. And yes I have seen that as a common theme. Thats encouraging. Just doing my research and making sure I feel 100% confident with that dr. How was your healing process and how quickly were you able to get back to work? I have my own business so dont want to be down for too long

Thank you bro. Did you lose any sensitivity in your penis if so how long did it take to get back? And are your orgasms the same or does it take you any longer to cum?

Re: Implants in Phoenix area
I seem to still have sensitivity. My coming has went.
I had emergency TURP surgery by another doc at the same facility and now have retrograde ejaculation. At my age, it just doesn't matter.
I can ejaculate using Rosie, but it takes longer with sex than my wife likes.
I can say she loves the new me and uses it every day except on Thu when I play golf.
She thinks it takes too much out of me, but I think she just likes a day off.
If I worked, I guess I would have taken about 2 weeks to go back unless I just sat at a desk.
