I use a VED set to 35 kPa every day.
I pump up the IPP as hard as I can, then use the VED for only 5 minutes, as any longer starts to cause oedema.

If I can eventually go for longer, then I will. I just don't think that repeated oedema is very good for the skin.
RALP with 75% nerve sparing 10/24.
Some tumescence from 5 weeks post op. Erection improved with pills, stalling @ 60%
Frisky with young wife again. Implanted Rigicon 10X 20 cm + 1 cm RTE mid April 25.

Dog, which VED do you have that has the pressure gauge?

I use a VED that I bought on AliExpress with a 12V pump and digital pressure regulator and display which I bought separately.

This allows precise and accurate pressure levels to be set.

I can supply the links to the vendors if anyone's interested.

After a while you just kind of go by feel. Too much pressure you'll get some edema, but that is if you're pumping probably > 15 to 20 minutes. It's temporary though. My routine is put it on while getting ready for work in the morning, about 15 minutes. If I can come home at lunch sometimes I'll put it on for 15 minutes again, then I do another 15 min session at bedtime. I don't pump my IPP all the way up at first, I'll take the VED off and inflate partially then put VED back on, then off and inflate more again, etc.

The pressure in the gauge probably is dropping as air is escaping little by little through the base. Mine does that I just give it a few more pumps to bring pressure back up.

Thanks, yes I'd be interested in having a look at those items. How do you fit them together?
My uro doesn't recommend VED use with the implant (but pre op he does).
But I'm still thinking about very mild use and might ask him about it again at my next appointment.
As an aside I recently bought some pruning blades for my reciprocating saw plus other bits and pieces from AliExpress.
They often have some very cheap stuff but the quality can be variable. Some things are excellent, some not.

I haven’t seen anyone here post about the, in my and others opinion, necessary step of warming up before pumping and again afterwards to increase capillary blood flow and dramatically reduce the onset of blood spots from the bursting or clogging of the capillaries in your skin.
I do it by sitting on the bench in my shower and soaking my dong in hot water for anywhere from seven to ten minutes both before and after the session. Then the first five minute portion of the session I slowly increase pressure from 2 to 5 hg. After the first five minutes I release the pressure and do Kegal’s slowly for as much of the next three minutes as possible and then reapply the pump and again not too quickly pump up to 5hg. On my third and 4th ect rounds of pumping I increase pressure slowly to 8 hg and my time to 6 and then next seven minutes. Don’t forget the 3 minute pause between pumping round and then the warm down.
The reason I do kegals instead of milking the blood thru my penis’ tissues is because I pump laid up in my bed and the castor oil is too messy to get all over my hands but the kegals seem to work well.
One last thing concerning lube.
I had posted previously in the pumping forum about using organic castor oil for pumping and forgot to mention a major benefit of making it part of your routine. Castor oil has the ability to soften connective tissue thereby allowing for easier expansion of the tunica fibers based on the reading and research I’ve run across. I’ve been using it for a couple of months and like it a lot. I Hope that this helps.

Thanks D. I'm guessing that you have technical ability (and motivation) beyond mine.
They also have a lot of pumps like the one in the link below. Seems to have some level of control over both pressure and speed.
I'm wondering if this type of pump, or a manual equivalent, could achieve similar control safely?
Electric Vacuum Penis Pump

If I do proceed down this path I think I'd probably go with something like that, or a medical grade device with a pressure gauge.

Yes, sorry, I'm a bit of a tinkerer :)

That device you linked to looks good. If it has fine control over the pressure, it's a winner.

If you get it, let me know how it goes.
