Implant reservoir

Postby otterboy » Wed Aug 06, 2025 1:12 am

Can someone help me with a few questions? I struggle with things and have to end up making poorly informed decisions. Can anyone tell me what the reservoir on an implant is for? do I need one? does it help with hardness and is it placed in the abdomen? Thank you guys...and thanks Jacob for his help so far.

Yes, your inflatable implant will have a reservoir.

The reservoir is for the storage of the saline when an implanted dick is deflated. It is inserted into the lower part of the abdomen.

As a guy inflates with the pump, the saline moves from the reservoir to the cylinders in his dick. This is what causes the dick to stiffen and become erect.

To deflate, the guy presses the release valve with one hand and squeezes his dick with the other. This moves the saline back to the reservoir.

I hope this helps.

Don't think there is a better explanation than what Time2Change said. If you get an implant the reservoir is one part of it. It is placed in your abdomen, linked with tubing to the pump and cylinders. I don't feel mine at all.
