That's ok, I was just curious as I had not heard of that hospital before.

Back in January when I enquired, the surgeon was doing 20-25 implants a month for the last 4-5 years. I think the airport pickup and drop service was $120 for the 90 minute commute.

Quick update, I am going to reach out to CureIndia tomorrow to discuss coming to New Delhi for the implant. I am having minor surgery on my hand next week so will try to schedule the implant for early in July.

Sorry for the delay in posting but I had hand surgery early in June as I did not want to wait until after my implant to have the surgery. I am still recovering from that but should be better soon.

I spoke to Dr. Banga in India via Cure India and liked most of what he said. The one thing I did not like is that he said I would lose up to an inch due to my peyronies whether he did Plication or Grafting. He is the only doctor that I have encountered who did not think grafting would perseve length. I decided to try to have a consultation with Dr. Govinda Gupta but he has been too busy to answer my questions so I have given up on that.

My focus now is on Dr. Osama Shaeer in Cairo, Egypt. He was one of my top choices but I was a little unsure of the travel advisories the U.S. has put on Egypt. Further research has assured me that should not be a problem. I have a consultation with him on August 4th so if all goes well I will try to get into his first available slot.

He's absolutely the best for complicated pyeronie's...excellent choice... and if you got moderate to high suprapubic fat , he might do suprapubic fat retraction technique within the same surgery (implantation + pyeronie's correction) itself...that will add even up to 2 inches.

Good luck and please continue updating us.

Yes I am considering the fat retraction technique, if I go (and I am like 99% sure I will) then I will try to have a consultation in person before the surgery and will discuss this with him. I am not too heavy but I think I could get an inch back.

Thanks for the encouragement to use Dr. Shaeer.

I agree with TooYoung. Dr. Osama Shaeer is excellent. I loved my video consults with him. With Dr. Banga, your choice will be limited to Rigi10, Promedeon and Tactra. Genesis is not officially available in Banga's hospital.
