Why would anyone want to explant? I'm confused

Same thing happened to me, it is not nearly as meaty and heavy as it was in the early days of the implant.

Hey wolfpacker, have you tried using a cock ring along with the implant for engorgement?

I have yeah, it definitely helps a lot with engorgement

So you don’t think the issue could be a venous leak?
40. Implanted July 5, 2024, by Dr. Andrew Kramer, Urology Associates of Cape Cod. AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic "hard flaccid" ED following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, TRT, even spinal injections. Nada.

It's 100% venous leak, that's why I got an implant on the first place. The cock ring does temporarily stop the venous leak
Early 30s with ED from jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

Gotcha! So with the cock ring, the implant should work fine for you, right? No?

It increases engorgement while it's on, the implant also works without it too of course

Just a few more questions, wolfpacker: why did you decide to switch to a CX after having the Titan? Is it safe to use a cock ring with the implant, or could the pressure/constriction cause a cylinder to rupture? And if this works fine for you, why would you consider explanting the implant?

Thanks!

The titan was so uncomfortable and unnatural feeling when deflated. It just felt like sharp crinkled up plastic straws poking my penis at multiple angles from the inside out. For the 99% of my life that I spend not having sex, I just didn't like those downsides, though it was better during sex than the CX.

I think the cock ring would be safe with the implant but I'm more worried about it's effect on your penis tissue. With the implant your soft tissue is already constantly pressed against plastic cylinders, and then with a cock ring the tissue is now being squeezed at high pressure between two layers of plastic. Just think it could potentially accelerate the thinning process. I didn't say it is fine, I just said it does indeed increase engorgement when on

What was better about the Titan, and how's the rigidity with the CX? Any "wobbling" at the base, like with the LGX?

The thinning process is curious. I know the Titan is "tunica dependent"; the AMS "tunica independent." I wonder if this has any bearing on tissue thinning.
