I had a reaction to medication for insomnia. Went to ER day 2 but they couldn't get it down. Had shunts 4 days later at another ER.
6 weeks later, I got an IPP.
I lost about 3 inches in length and over an inch in girth. It's the same size inflated as not, it just gets harder. I've now got a micropenis, yay! I got the implant after doctors told me it would allow me to have a normal relationship with my wife. Thats not how it worked out. This is not "normal" My wife won't admit it, but I have a feeling an inflatable micropenis isn't a huge turn on for her. I don't even want to use this thing.
Thanks for reading my rant
Hi BobDobbs, Sorry to hear of your priapism episode and recent experience, and I hope things get better for you.
It looks like you are only 4 or 5 weeks post op which is quite early on, and hopefully you will see improvement over time.
It's common to be shorter initially post op but as others have said your implant results seem unusual.
Can you share any more details that might help us understand the problem better?
Looking at the stats in your signature of 21cm +2cm RTEs, which isn't small, I'm struggling to understand how micropenis could be an outcome.
I searched for a definition of micropenis and got "In adults, a stretched penile length of 3.67 inches (9.32 cm) or less"
Is that what you currently have? We all have different anatomies but most will generally fall somewhere around the average.
Do you know your pre-op length and girth, and the proximal (internal) and distal (external) measurements from your implant procedure?
Mine were proximal 10 cm and distal 11 cm resulting in a 21 cm implant, which is 2 cm less than what you have.
Initially I was a bit disappointed and didn't measure length but estimate that I was between 4.5 and 5 inches erect.
After cycling for 10 weeks I'm currently just over 6 inches erect length, which is close to what I've always been.
Thanks for the response. I was about 6.25x5", (not bone pressed) before the priapism and surgery. Bone pressed, I'm 5 inches now. Not pressing in the fat, it's 4 inches, so I lost about 2.5" I asked my surgeon if it will expand over time and he said no, not the CX model I have. The LGX like you have does expand. Mine is always the same size, just gets hard like concrete when inflated, but not any bigger. Sucks walking around with a 100-percent size, semi hard erection 24/7. Pumping it up makes me super depressed.
