I have similar issue. I’m 7” when measured from pubic bone to tip. But I have only 5” of useable penetration because the tubing in my balls is 2” in front of the pubic bone. I used to be able to hit bottom when fucking my girlfriend. Now, I can’t. I saw a comment earlier about, if you can orgasm. Stop complaining. My dick is numb, I cannot orgasm, which is my bigger problem. I’m at 3 month and try to remain optimistic that feeling and orgasms will return in the coming months. If the do, I write the loss of 2 inches as a small price to pay.

7 months could be early for sensation to return fully. I noticed big jump at 6 months.

I think you can also get more usable length with time as the tubing and tissue softens. There could be blood hemerroage blocking the tissue. It will dissolve with time as well.
