I was implanted on the 5th of June with an AMS 700 LGX, and now I'm in the 2nd week of recovery. The first week wasn't so bad, just a very tight abdomen and discomfort around the bladder, some of which was from the catheter, which, for me, was probably the worst part of my journey so far.
The start of this 2nd week has seen the stitches in my scrotum be more uncomfortable than all of the first week, with them stinging like crazy when I'm standing up and towards the end of the day. Earlier today, I experienced a new sensation around my bladder that seemed to spasm a bit. Throughout the day, that area has felt tender when pressed or when I move, but the discomfort subsides after a while, which I expect is normal for recovery at this early stage.
I am supposed to go back next week to start cycling, but I feel I'm going to need to improve quite a bit over the next few days if that is the case. The incision site looks to be quite a bit away from wanting to be messed about with too much in that region, and whilst my abdomen has improved drastically, it's still bruised and sensitive, as is my penis.
It's still quite a surreal feeling that I've had the surgery done, but I don't regret it one bit, and I'm looking forward to continuing to heal and finally have a wokrking penis again.

Donger200,
what you describe seems all normal for 2nd week of recovery and you'll be get better every day.
Give it time to heal and if you don't feel like you can start cycling a week later.
And think about, you'll enjoy sex very soon and be a functional man again!
Get well
Dan

Yeah everything seems right.
Your reservoir is near the blatter so it's normal that you feel some strange things in there.
You'll see 3rd week is a real change in recovery.
Let it heal and be patient everything gonna be ok

Re: 2nd Week After Implant
Donger200, congrats on a continued smooth recovery. Everything you described sounds like early recovery stuff -- although the experience is different for everyone. FWIW, I had an unusually rough recovery and was scheduled to start cycling at 6 weeks. However I was still so swollen and with other complications and had to wait until almost 8 weeks before cycling, lifting and sex. At 4+ months post-op things are great ! So -- even if you needed to wait a little longer to start cycling because of the issues you described, it doesn't to seem that big of a deal.
