Implant vs Injection / natural Sensation

Postby splitpeach » Wed Jun 11, 2025 6:04 pm

For those implanted, particularly inflatable implants, how does the inflated sensation compare to a natural or injection sensation?

I love the swollen, intense pressured feeling I get after taking an injection like my dick is pulling forward and up into the sky.

How different is the implant feeling? Still like that or like having a rolling pin glued to your groin?

After 15 years of progressively worse ED, it had been a while since I had the feeling of a very hard cock, even using injections. Now, with my AMS CX implant, I can get it as hard as I want, and the feeling is unbelievable as the outer part of my penis slides along a hard shaft. That can bring me to orgasm pretty quickly, which is perfectly acceptable since I never lose my erection unless I want to! Overall, the pleasure and sensation that I get now is at least 5x better than pre surgery. What a gift!
66 years old. Long term progressive ED. Pills and injections no longer the solution.

For me most injections were painful. I am not talking about the injections itself but the medicine itself. And yes I did try many different combinations. Some worked much better than others but eventually they stopped working all together. I am in week 2 post op so I haven't experienced much yet. But the feeling this far (other than the expected soreness) is great.

My doctor told me that full erection produced by injection is superior to full erection by an implant.

I used shots for nearly 10 years and have had my implant for 2 and a half months now.

Although I liked the feeling of my erection with injections I like the feeling of my implant even more.

It feels like the rock hard cock of my youth. A rigid shaft with the skin sliding over it feels fantastic. My brain interprets the feeling as “OMFG!! I’m so turned on!!”
56yo, NYC. ED started at 40. Pills, then shots for 10 years. 24cm Coloplast Titan w/classic pump by Dr Eid 3/25/2025. Will meet for show & tell.

Superior in what way? Sensation?

Sensations, assuming injections are working.

Yeah that is my suspicion too. I'm just wondering how different that sensation is between the two.

I'm simultaneously dealing with erectile dysfunction and with anorgasmia. The injections are very reliable in terms of giving me an erection but they don't necessarily do much for the sensation needed for orgasm. All the commentary I've seen indicates that an implant doesn't do anything, either pro or con, to affect sensation. I'm curious if anyone on the forum here has experience counter to that, i.e has your ability to climax gotten better or worse?

Injections (at least for me) were great until they weren’t. Over time I needed higher doses and scarring became a problem. I’ve also had to deal with atrophy over the years. I’ve immersed myself in the comments pro and con with the brothers on Franktalk and just set a surgery date for late Sept. If it weren’t for a busy schedule of summer travel I’d be doing it today.
RP 2012, fought ED with viagra and cialis for years then switched to trimix for 3 years. Then scar tissue settled in. Now fighting atrophy with a VED and getting ready for an AMS700 in Sept.
