Greetings Franktalk folks, and especially Tenacio pump users. I'm hoping my quirky experience helps someone out there.
About 5 days ago I pressed the deflate button after cycling, and everything seemed normal. The implant deflated, and life was good. Sometimes I hear the click of the valve, and other times I just feel it. Every now and then I hear/feel nothing, but I visually see the cylinders deflating.
Usually my implant deflates to what seems like 20-30% which seems to be the default setting for lack of better words. I don't mind that at all. Easy to manage, conceal, and keeps any kinks out of the cyclinders. Plus I'd be lying if I said I didn't like being a shower now. ED for 20 years has bruised my ego so now I'm enjoying reclaiming that part of my life.
What I've noticed is that if I press the deflate button a little harder, you will most certainly get a second click. My implant complete deflates 100% at that point, and hangs like a normal penis. This has happened about 5 times to me.
Initially I thought it was a nice option if you truly needed to conceal without a little bit of a bulge. Maybe swimming with family and friends, at work, or whatever reason you might have.
What initially spooked me is that once I tried to re-inflate, the bulb was hard as a rock, and nothing happened. I thought I broke something, or the pump had failed. I pressed the deflate button again to reset. It didn't have any effect, and the bulb was still rock hard.
I took a break to think about the physics, and mechanics involved so I could try to sort out the situation. I gently squeezed the bulb multiple times while gently increasing the pressure each time. I was very careful not to create too much pressure to blow out the components. Eventually the valved released, and the bulb went soft. Everything reset, and I was back in business.
What I've decided is to deflate all the way, then immediately add 3-5 pumps so the valve does get stuck in the closed position. It seems to work, and has saved me a lot of panic. I have no clue if this is a common thing, or if it's my specific pump. Either way it works just fine, and I'm happy to have figured out a solution. I hope this information helps someone out there who has the same moment of panic that I did.
Have a great day everyone!

I read this was a problem with the old ms pumps as well. For that reason most people like to leave a few pumps inside

JohnDoe, I really appreciate you passing that along. My Tenacio pump also works differently than described in the documentation, so its great to collect other guys' experiences for reference. When you said that you "pressed the deflate button again to reset", was that the deep press-and-hold that I've heard others describe ?

Re: Interesting quirk about my Tenacio pump to share with everyone
It seems to be different every time. I can press the deflate button, and not feel or hear anything. The cylinders start to deflate a varying amount depending on the day. If they don't go down as much as I'd like, I'll press a little harder. Sometimes the click will happen, or maybe the button simply becomes flush with the valve block. Sometimes I can hear a very quiet squeal as the fluid passes through the valve(s). I assume the valve isnt completley open. I picture it as a hose being pinched, and only allowing a little fluid through. I'll usually press the deflate button again, and then it will deflate quicker. Hopefully that helps. If my response is a convoluted mess please let me know, and we can try to get you a better answer.
