“Wish I had done it sooner…”

Postby Nocturne » Thu May 22, 2025 7:20 pm

For you guys who wish you had gotten your implants sooner - at what point was it that you wish you had gotten your implant (in retrospect), but didn’t? If you could do it all over again, when would you have gotten it done?
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

I wish I had gotten it done after my accident at age 20. I lived for 14 years with ED, and it more or less ruined every single relationship I've ever had. It collapsed my mental health.
Born 1990. ED since age 20 after a bicycle accident. Coloplast Genesis malleable implanted December 2024. Read my implant journal here.

As funny as it sounds, I wish I had gotten it right after puberty.
40. Lifelong ED. Pills unreliable. Skipped injections. Passed on IPPs to avoid revision roulette. Jan 2025: Coloplast Genesis malleable 22cm x 13mm. Wish I had done this sooner.

I don't think I could have got my implant sooner, but I'm glad about the timing of that moment.

I had went to my military urologist doctor about my prostrate problems and I filled out a questionnaire before my appointment that asked lots of questions about my sexual health and ED problems. I just laid it all out and didn't hold back about all the problems I was having during my late 50's and early 60's with marginal erections.
I was sort of taken aback when they brought me a video to watch about a permanent solution to ED. It was a little scary to think about an implant where I would never have that natural throbbing hard on again, but I was ready to take the leap and I'm glad I did.

If you don't have your sexual manhood, go out and get it fixed with a permanent solution.

Hang in there FrankTalk Brothers there is light at the end of the tunnel :!:

Well,
I had ED something like 30 years, took pills, tried injections, which were complicated and I didn't like it. Pills worked well, but I didn't have regular sex as I was 4 times in asexual marriages. I was depressive and spent all my life for my carrier instead.
After those 4 marriages I divorced the last one and got a 22 years hottie, we were fucking like crazy everyday with pills. It was great, however the pills apparently made my vessels status worse and 12/2022 I had a mini stroke and that was the point I couldn't take pills anymore not to risk another stroke or heart attack.
I started to look for other solutions and came across implants, wrote to my insurance, they approved it immediately, found a surgeon with an early appointment and did it, 7/23 I got the implant and soon in the recovery 3 weeks after surgery I started to have sex and it was great. My hottie girlfriend and I had the best sex ever, I was a lucky boy. Then she had to move to another city 2/2024.
I started to date young women. Now after one year of daily fucking another young hottie I must say, I should not have married, should have done my implant like 45 years ago and should have this kind of sexual life for all my life.

Anyway, but I am still happy to have this life now, until I die.
So guys, don't waste time with bad relationships, don't waste time with too long phases with pills, take your chance, get an implant and start fucking!
Life is way too short to spend it on bullshit!
Each day without good sex is a lost one!
Start fucking!
All the best

I wish I had done it immediately after my nerve sparing prostatectomy, which took away 100% of my erectile function (previously I always had pretty good natural erections). Instead I persisted for 3 years with conservative treatments that either didn't work at all, or were far less than satisfactory, and some had negative side effects. I was hoping my natural erections would return (it does for some), but I should have acted sooner when there was no sign of recovery whatsoever after 12 months. The path I followed made sense at the time but no longer does with the wisdom of hindsight.
70 y.o. married from Sydney Oz. PC and nerve sparing RRP 2022, but still profound ED since. Tried pills, injections, shockwave therapy, VED. Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery going well.
