I understand. Very interesting. I wonder what the discrepancy is then. Perhaps the consultants have taken this view and it hasnt yet trickled down to the wider team. I wonder what she means by the first model and second model. Has there been a significant modification?

Rigicon had hardware failures in their early models. They released the pulse pump in 2024 which is their latest model and so far they have had good reception.

Plenty of people in the forum have rigicons.

I'm sure there are some happy Rigicon patients, but Niall's account seems convincing as he is adamant about what the consultants have advised.... There must be something to it for them to have told him this

so he was advised to not get a ridgecon because it might break as much as the titan and ams ? got it .

Lol, great conclusion :) I see doctors pushing titan as being the "ubreakable implant", but we all know from this forum this is far from the truth. How many titans we see in this forum being replaced before 3 years? how many people had 3 titans in a row? At least rigicon gives you a lifetime warranty, and bigger girth than the titan, and more natural flaccid (no dog ears).
Implanted October 11, 2024, Dr Karaman. Infla10 AX 20cm +1cm RTE.

ED about 14 years. Pills worked for 12 years, later worked 50%. Tried almost everything, nothing worked: Shockwave-Testosterone-PRP-Stem Cells-Botox, Etc

How long has your most recent Rigicon been in? How do you find it? How is it flaccid?

I have some new information about my upcoming op with the Manchester Royal Infirmary Urology Department.
It will be performed at Trafford General Hospital.
The Manchester Urology Surgeons now carry out all their surgeries at TGH because there is better theatre availability and less chance of one of their patients getting bumped off the list by a genuine acute emergency but the clinic etc. are still at MRI. This change has occurred in the two years since my last op which was at MRI.
There is no separate department/service at Trafford, it is the same one.
I hope this settles some of the confusion there has been about what is available.
Onset of ED at age 46, no erection since, pills, VED , Injections, no luck, not even once.
Implanted 19.04.2023 in UK, with Rigicon Infla 10 AX, not functioning.
Waiting for date of revision for complete removal and replacement with AMX.

Good luck for your op. When is it?

Would you mind finding out what it was they meant when they said they no longer use THAT TYPE of Rigicon any more and what their opinion is of the new model?

I haven't got a date yet, pre-op coming up.
When I had my Rigicon implanted in 2023 they said it was the best on the market and they no longer implanted anything else, now that it has to come out the replacement will not be any sort of Rigicon but what he called a "Boston", so obviously the Rigicons are not as well-regarded as they once were.
I will likely be unconscious the next time I meet the surgeon.

Sounds like you will be getting Boston Scientific AMS product. It could be an LGX or a CX.

Why did he refer you to an AMS and not a Titan to replace the Rigicon?

so you have had the ridgi ipp for 7 months now , how has it been so far ? no pump issues or leaks etc? is the rigi ipp claimed to help regain girth and length ?
