Pre Op Day 14 Continued: for the first time in years and years my erection actually stands at attention. It’s been ages since that was the case.

The only bruising I had was self inflicted, horrible technique as I was learning to pump. But all that bruising is gone now. The stitches are now gone and steri-strips applied that will fall off over the next 4-7 days.

I would encourage anyone on the fence about getting an implant to seek out the best, high volume surgeon you can reach and have a consultation.

I’ve got nothing but good things to say about having an implant. I’m still getting my (shitty) organic erections and mornings wood but now have a rigid framework for a hard penis whenever I need.

My updates will be less frequent now I suspect. When the steri strips are gone I’ll update some new pics. And I’ll update measurements once a month or so to track any gains made.

Post Op Day 19: The incision on my scrotum is essentially invisible already. I continue to be amazed at how quick my recovery has been. I know it’s not the norm. But i’m grateful.

Coming up on one month post op.

I forget that I have an implant for longer and longer stretches of time now. The first couple weeks I was constantly aware of it.

Masturbation with light or medium pressure is totally comfortable. Firmer/ vigorous pressure is uncomfortable, mainly the tips in the glans.

Have been given the green light for sex by the doc but am still waiting for the green light from the hubby.

My doc suggested I dress with the penis pointing up for 6 weeks. This should help preserve an upward angle of the erect penis as it heals fully. A jockstrap over my boxer briefs was my first attempt but the waistband of the jockstrap was uncomfortable on the glans. So I cut a horizontal slit in the top of the jock pouch so the penis can stick out the top. Then wearing boxer briefs over that. Baby sock over the penis for comfort. Old school jocks are fairly course fabric.

I continue to be amazed by this thing. It was the right decision for me.

How fun to hear and see that you are recovering well, really encouraging, I am only a week after the surgery, my operation is only 6 weeks later, so for now rest at home, no severe pain, just paracetamol and antibiotics. Good luck in the future and keep going update.

Tomorrow is 6 weeks post op and I couldn’t be happier with my implant. I think Dr Eid did a remarkable job and I’m grateful to have had such an easy recovery.

A major sign of progress to me is that I forget for long stretches of time that I have an implant. It is just becoming part of me. Early on, even though I had minimal pain I was VERY aware of the implant all the time. That is less and less the case now.

In the past 6 weeks I’ve been cycling twice a day, pumping up to maximum and stretching/bending it a bit. Probably for no more than about 15 minutes. If I get a chance to stay inflated longer I do but life is busy. I have slept with the implant pumped to max pressure a few times deflating a bit when the ache woke me up.

I’m still getting organic erections/engorgement around the deflated implant when I’m aroused. It’s great as I thought I would have to trade that feeling away when I got an implant. I still wake with morning wood and the engorgement fills out the shape and feeling of the implant when it is inflated as well.

I’ve been able to put the implant to use and it works great. I really love it.

I’ve regained some length and girth just in the last six weeks.

At week one I was 6 7/8”. Now at six weeks I am 7 1/8”. An increase of 1/4” length in 6 weeks of cycling.

At week one my girth was 5 1/2”. Now at six weeks I am 5 7/8”. An increase of 3/8” girth in 6 weeks of cycling.

This length slightly exceeds what I was preop. I think I was close to 7.5” in my youth but during the years of ED that decreased to 7”.
I’m still 5/8” narrower girth at the moment but expect I will continue to regain some of that girth.
