Athletic Supporter Sizing Post-Surgery

Postby Tuscan_Order » Fri Apr 18, 2025 11:26 am

Hi all,

I'm curious if those who used an athletic supporter after surgery to maintain the proper "upward pointing" would recommend upsizing the supporter or not. In other words, is it better to get a slightly larger size immediately after surgery so the supporter isn't too tight, or does a normally sized one work just fine? Appreciate your opinions.

In my case. I found that an athletic supporter while helping to hold me up. Did not hold me up as far as I wanted. I rolled two wash cloths up & laid it cross wise on the underside of my dick. I tried several methods including wearing an ACE bandage like a low hanging belt. Supporter & the wash cloths were the best in my opinion. When I had my appointment with my dr he said my angle was about as good as could be achieved.

Please note. I have a very deep cruz. About 10cm. So almost half of my implant is very firmly anchored in my pelvic area. I had discommfort during healing back to my asshole. The commonly suggested Perito exercise is impossible to do with that strong of an anchor. He & I talked about the IPP design. Inflated, they are straight. While your penis most likely was banana shaped. You don't normally see the curve because much of it is inside you.

Good luck if you get an implant. Its worth it. Just remember that each man is different & above all else. Separate the BS spouted by some from the truth told by those that have been there. If your USA based. Find a dr with a low revision/infection rate. You want skill, not the closest or popular dr. A revision is not the end of the world. Even if you need to self pay. Its just the price of a used car. Most people don't sweat buying a used car very much.

I’d like to suggest that you try some Separatec Boxer Briefs. Got mine on Amazon

They have a very soft, very well supported pouch to hold your very tender scrotum, and a separate pouch for your tender penis.

The design keeps you from squeezing your nuts and pump with your thighs, and keeps the scrotum higher when you initially sit down on anything. The little section for your penis lets it sit there comfortably without having to fight for space with the rest of your junk.

I liked these MUCH better than an athletic supporter

Thanks. I ordered a few. I'll see how they work out.
