When I got ED in my 50's I went straight to Levitra and it was workinng like a charm. When it stopped working (late 50's) I went dormant for a long time. Found out about the peptides and tried them, producing erections etc. but not reliable to do the deed. Now on 150 Trimix and .2 does the job for 2 hour hard wood. Great God.
I read on this site a man who said it is an inevitable slide to having to get an implant. Is this true? Can Trimix work over a long period of time. I have had 7 sessions since Feb and hope it can keep up at .2.
Are there different strengths of Trimix, what is Quadmix. Will I end up having to get a larger dose after a while and then an implant?
At 67 now and would like to think that Trimix will do the job for the next 10 years if I last that long.
Stages of ED treatment
Re: Stages of ED treatment
Your Dr should have answered these questions but… I used injections for 18 months. I started at 2 units of a mild strength tri mix cocktail. And yes there is many differs strengths of tri mix. By the 3rd month I was up to 15 units and by 6 months I was around 25-30 units. By my one year mark I was up to 60 units plus. And by this point I was needing to go to a stronger strength so I could use less quantity.Usually start off on a mild strength so you can figure out how much you need. Generally you will need more as time goes. My Dr explained that as my venous leak got progressively worse I would require more.its never a case of your body getting accustomed to it and needing more is what my Dr said.At least in my case he was exactly right. I was also struggling with getting the exact amount I needed as I increased my dosages by as little as a unit or two I would get a boner for 4 hours and be eating Sudafed 6-8 at a time and narrowly avoiding going to the ER.Next time it seemed it wouldn’t even keep me hard so I would have to go up again. I rode this roller coaster for just over a year and decided to get an implant. Took a couple months for first visit and then appointment for surgery along with getting insurance approval. I’ve never looked back and never regret my decision.
On the flip side to this there has been several people on here that have used a consistent amount of tri or quad or even a simple done of the one main ingredient and have done so for 10 plus years and not had any issues. Some people can develop scar tissue from injections and some don’t. Some have claimed that it caused enough scar tissue to cause pyronies disease. If I could have used a low dose and it worked consistently for me I definitely would have continued using it. Lifestyle, travel, married status and many other factors attribute to if or when you would go with an implant. It’s your decision but most people know when it’s time. When you get sick and tired of poking it with a needle or have constant issues, you’ll know
There’s a section on injections that might be a little more helpful but either way you’re in the right group to get opinions. Feel free to private message me any time. Good luck

My activity is limited to about once every 10 days so not doing a huge amount of injections. I really don't want an implant and probably can't afford one. I would be happy to have a good sex life for at least 10 more years when I will be 78. I have lived a very hard life mileage wise so don't expect to reach the upper years, but you never know. Thanks for your input as I am in Canada and have already waited over 6 months to see an Urologist. I am hoping that this will happen very soon. I have a ton of questions for him.
Re: Stages of ED treatment
I was mid-50's when ED started. Viagra worked for a couple years, then it didn't. Couple of years later found Trimix, that worked great for a few years. When it started being unreliable, even at a higher dose, moved to stronger formula. Finally ended up with Quadmix which only worked for me for about a year. I guess my leak was bad and getting worse.
There are guys who have used Trimix for a number of years successfully. Each of us is different so keep doing what you're doing. Definitely keep that uro appointment, ask any and all questions you have. Remember they have seen and heard it all so don't be shy discussing what your penis does and doesn't do.
(Quadmix has one additional ingredient in it than Trimix. I can't remember what, but I went from 60 units of Trimix to 10 units of Quadmix and had better erections, for a while at least.)
