It never was. You may have itching as the wound heals too.

You're tough to go back to work at 14 days.

Good man.

Exactly my concern two days back.

The itching continues though overall pain and swelling are almost gone.

Found a solution to the stitch sensitivity and itching.

POLYSPORIN Plus Pain Relief Cream.
contains lidocaine hydrochloride for fast-acting topical pain relief.
2 Antibiotics plus lidocaine hydrochloride

Tried it last evening instead of the other Polysporin I was applying on the stitch area since surgery. Helped with sleep and soreness too at the stitch area.
Going to apply twice a day as my surgeon recommended and hopefully, that takes care of the issue.

Hi,

I read your post earlier, and I almost thought of suggesting lidocaine to stop the itching, or perhaps an antihistamine.

Then I thought it would make things all greasy, perhaps trap heat, and generally make things worse, so I didn't.

Antibacterial version should put any concerns to doubt in terms of nasties building up. I should have just gone and suggested it earlier.

You thought of it yourself though.

How was pain through work?

Thank you my friend for thinking of solutions.

Close to 3 weeks mark.
The last two days were painful after my misadventure of trying to inflate/deflate.

Have been driving around, going to work(desk job).

I am not sure but when the pain totally subsidies(after the painkiller) and I have an erotic thought I felt mild engorgement of the penis.
Will see how that goes in the coming weeks.

Looking forward to week 6 for meeting with surgeon and inflate/deflate.

Were you asked to try and inflate or deflate by your doc captain? Or did you just want to try and find it a go? Was yours penoscrotal?

I'm only one week out and don't even want to think about even looking there let alone try to find the pump. I had a call with the nurse today and I'm to go in to see them in about 10 days for them to deflate it.

It was my misadventure.

Dont worry..each surgeon(well experienced ones) have developed their own protocol. You should be fine. Wait till week 3..you will get eager to operate it even if surgeons date is later.

I was told to wait for 4 weeks, and then inflate with surgeon.

Covid lockdown hit and appointment was cancelled.

So at 4 weeks I did it myself.

I remember thinking that I wouldn't have be able to inflate the week prior die to tenderness.

They're was a reason he chose the 4 week mark.

The pain will go soon.
