I'd be afraid of stretching the cock and pulling the tips out of the glans or the crus. :o

Nonsense, I use the VED completely deflated, inflated, it doesn't matter. Unless you're poking those tubes with a needle, they're very hard to damage. a vacuum device isn't going to do anything to it. Just doesn't generate enough pressure. The tubes can't go anywhere but within the corpora, they're not going to come out of there and end up somewhere else. The only real risk of that is at the base where the incisions were and the tubes inserted during surgery and even then only if it didn't mend properly during healing. you'll see some guys have had their cylinders come out down there, but those are usually older guys with weaker internal tissues (not uncommon with age). Much less likely in a healthy 36 year old male.

Begging your pardon, I don't think it is complete nonsense. Here's my reasoning.

If you vaccuum your penis with the implant uninflated, you may (emphasis on "may") pull the distal tip of your tunica away from the distal tip of the implant. I do not know what danger, if any, that presents, but a void at that place would not be good if it stayed. Likewise along the sides of the implant tubes.

This is just a speculation, so take it as being cautious in the absence of clinical evidence.

I hear ya, but as soon as you remove the VED the glans immediately retracts itself right back up against the end of the tips. It would be no different than just pulling/extending your dick out by pinching your glans with your finger

I suspect that might depend on how hard you pull or how hard you vacuum and for how long a time.

Day 16 POST OP..

I am not scheduled to have my pump activated for 2 more weeks, but I spoke with my doctor yesterday and told him how much research I’ve done and how I can feel all the parts of my pump. He said if I wanted to inflate and deflate it then to go ahead… so I just took a hot bath and DID IT! Success!!

I was inflated to 25 percent to begin with, then when inflated myself I would say I got it to be 85 percent. Because I had MINIMAL discomfort, and I felt the pump bulb could be squeezed more. But before I got it any harder I wanted to make sure I could DELFATE it so I pushed the button and sure enough it deflated all the way down to completely flaccid. I measured my new flaccid at a hair about 5.5 inches. I did measure my girth when I pumped it up and it was bigger than my 25 percent inflation by 1/4 of an inch. So I expect that to get bigger. My length was 6.25 inches, which is still a good ways away from my pre op length of 7.25ish….. but I’m hopeful. The implant was very hard and another thing, my penis had a downward curve before the implant and now it is completely
Straight.

How would you guys suggest I proceed the next couple of weeks in terms of cycling this thing?

Profirefight you are gonna be slaying some poonanny soon. What are you doing to minimize loss of muscle from not hitting the gym?
Im pretty big into working out also and the idea of no gym for 6 weeks hurts.

lol, well I’m really trying to win back my ex wife, so we will see about that. I am hopeful.

As far as working out goes, yeah it has sucked. The first 10 days of not working out I didn’t look too much different but after the hitting the two week mark I could tell I was shrinking some. I am 17 days post op now and went to the gym today for the first time and did LIGHT LIGHT weight all upper body just to get some blood flow and it felt good. I was told not to lift anything over 10 pounds for 3 weeks then ease back into my normal routine. I wasn’t told 6 weeks like you mentioned.

My advice would be to get your diet right and don’t give yourself an excuse to eat like crap just because you aren’t able to workout. Even though I definitely did eat some bad food, but I wish I had kept it clean the whole time. Plus, muscle memory is a real thing and it will all come right back!

Sent you a PM when I saw one of your post on Dr Knoll. I have now read this journal.
I live in Kentucky but use doctors in Louisville and Nashville. When I first started looking for a high volume implanter I was searching for doctors in these cities. I ran across these videos on YouTube of Dr. Dean Kmoll and yes he is a high volume implanter and has traveled around the world training and done implants from info from these videos. Don’t know why he is not more well know on FT. But again don’t see a lot of people from this area of the country on here either.

https://youtu.be/91dKVy7whmE

https://youtu.be/bbUHv0EmxHE

I decided he was a good choice and called urology associates and they said that his son was now taking over doing the implants. I was a little disappointed but make the appointment. I talked over my life of ED and he suggested I have the implant. I actually told him I had wanted his dad. I wasn’t quite as prepared as I should have been with questions. But told him to check insurance. The one thing that concerned me was that he only would do a AMS. The reason he stated was because of the antibiotic that is infused in the AMS units to help with infection. The research I had done I was leaning towards the titan because of my girth. I decided to search for another doctor and found Dr. Mathew Pollard at that time he was at another practice and was supposed to be trained in male sexual heath and done many implants. He also implanted both types. I got more prepared after reading a lot on FT and had a long list of questions. Found out he had moved to urology associates and made a appointment. He answered the list of questions to my satisfaction and said he did many implants a month. I can’t remember the amount now but was in the amount that is discussed here. He suggested the titan for me. Both doctors checked insurance and it won’t pay. I had not ever had a Doppler or anything else much done. So Pollard ordered a Doppler and still didn’t find the reason for the ED. Had some other prostate issues and Pollard did do Green light TURP and I was very pleased with his success with that. I have posts about that on FT. I had not tried injections. But after insurance would not pay I decided to try with not much success.

Now that I read about some problems with other guys that Pollard did implants on, Not sure I would of used him in the future for the implant. I know things happen even with the best surgeons so can’t judge on someone else’s experience when it could be something that’s not the doctors fault. But sure gives some concerns. When I had the Doppler done I talked with the NP that did it about both doctors and he assumed me he would not have a issue with having either do it. He did say that Dr, Dean Knoll was still doing implants but was turning the implants over to His son mostly. That if I used his son,Paul, that I would basically be getting both doctors. Pollard has now left the practice to a new position. My understanding is that it a position that deals with male fertility and was a move up. I actually had a check up from the TURP with the young doctor that filled his position and not so impressed. So now trying to decide if I want to transfer to DR. Dean or Dr. Paul Knoll or look for another. The only thing I don’t like is they only do AMS. And that’s a whole new debate on which one is best and to get. Sorry for the long post but wanted to post these video links and my experience with these doctors.
