Took 5-6 weeks to be able to totally deflate where it would actually hang down any without underwear holding it that way. I prefer 3-4 pumps as it feels more natural that way. When fully deflated it is very flat and looks flat. Also dog ears get irritating with no fluid in it. With 4 pumps it looks pretty much like a natural shower with the exception that it stands out about 4:30-5 o’clock.

Would love to know if these dog ears go away after a year.

Frank66665. At first I did point it up but after things softened up it was much more comfortable in the down position. I bought some seperatec underwear and I’m definitely a shower! Kinda getting used to it and enjoying it a lot!

Nuance. I’m only 11 weeks out but there are still some dogears with 4 pumps but not so sharp that they get irritating as with no pumps. It’s my thoughts that they will always have dogears as it’s a tube and it naturally stands out at 3:00 position and anytime it’s pointed in a downward or upward position it will bend and it will have dogears… even after it softens up I would think it will still have them just not as noticeable.

When you say irritating, is it the feeling down there or the "look" that irritates you?

Don’t notice the appearance unless your right on it but earlier on it was uncomfortable, but as time goes and it softens up it gets better. Also think your skin gets toughened up which helps too. Is mentioned in much more comfortable with 3-4 pumps during the day. When I sleep I put 4-6 pumps in it so it gets totally straight which is most comfortable but you can’t roll over!! Tagt kickstand hurts if you do!! Lol

The doc whom I believe botched my implant was Roger McKimmey in Euguene OR. He's retired now so he cant do any further damage.

I'm seeing a new guy who was recruited from NC named Kreughoff (sp?) who just ordered an MRI on my member, so we'll see what happens next. I had it done on 11/17 and waiting on a review.

Boston Scientific was of no help whatsoever. They went so far as to claim that there is no record of me even being in the hospital. Spare me the bullshit. I talked to their liaison twice who was largely un-empathetic. She said she'd have a sales rep call me - twice - but it never happened.

I originally started this thread since I'm a little worried when it comes to my implant surgery because of scrotal pain issues. My left epididymis began aching about a year ago. It got so bad that this summer I had micro-denervation of the spermatic cord to cut the nerves to my left testicle. The surgery was a success and I no longer feel pain. As I was healing the right epididymis began aching but has stayed very mild. I really only feel it when sitting or Igo poking around down there.
I've had two ultrasounds; a CT scan and countless urine cultures and all tests indicate I have two healthy testicles and epididymis.
As I understand it an implant is a standalone entity and doesn't care what's going on with your testicles so long as you don't have any UTIs. Successful surgery is dependent upon not getting an infection and proper placement and function of the implant.
That said, I'm just as guilty as many men because my mind often goes to a worst-case scenario. I worry that something is wrong down there, but my urologist couldn't find it and now my implant will not work out because of it. I guess I was just wondering if anyone has had or knew of anyone who had to have implant removed for reasons other than an infection or botched surgery. Specifically, because of the patient having an unidentified issue in their scrotum. Thank you.

I have read several hundred posts by the brothers and never saw a concern about that, though I may have missed it.

I would agree with Old Guy on page one of this thread.

Cold thing

Postby Kaspar2501 » Sat Nov 26, 2022 9:03 pm

My penis is cold to the touch when inflated. I could never use it with someone else without wrapping it in a warm "blanket" first. Anyone else have this problem?

I have had my implant for 6 years. It's the best thing that has ever happened to my sexual life. I love it I don't think enough men post the success stories. I am having the best sex of my life thanks to my implant. My husband loves it.
AMS 700 LGX 18cm, implanted December 16, 2016, University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Wm. Jaffe Married to a Man
