Deflating after two weeks

Postby smphead » Fri Nov 04, 2022 12:22 am

My doc generally deflates after 2 weeks, after being inflated 60% for 2 weeks.. He does penoscrotal approach.
I hear a lot people still being sore after 2 weeks .

My q, is. Are there guys over here who had penoscrotal and got deflated after 2 weeks?
Any tips for painblockers?

80% inflated right after surgery. Felt like the tip of my penis was in a vise. So my surgeon took be down wo about 70-75%.

Advice: Stay horizontal as much as possible. Gravity is not the friend of traumatized tissue.

Ice reduces swelling and eases pain. Don't overdo it.

KEEP THE WOUND ASSIDUOUSLY CLEAN.

I could have gone back to work after two weeks. But took three to pamper myself and becauuse I had the leave time.

I was deflated at 2 weeks and it was a real relief, I wasn’t in a real rush to cycle, many don’t begin to cycle for 3, 4 or even 6 weeks. Those first few cycles are difficult, mainly from the inflammation in the scrotum, basically, I would let the pain determine your cycling. I believe cycling for increased length is over-rated, I think size has more to do with the sizing done by the surgeon. I cycled a few times after my two week deflation, which was my third week out from surgery, but began in earnest in my fourth week, meaning after three weeks out. I had penoscrotal surgery, but there was still a lot of swelling in the pubic area so I didn’t even attempt to measure. About 4 weeks out I measured for the first time and I was within 1/8” of my pre-surgery length. The only real pain I had in the early days of cycling was when the pump would slip out from between my fingers and taking a finger nail into the scrotum, not fun. Now, 6 weeks out I try to cycle once a day, usually in the shower when the scrotum loosens up a bit and only for 10-30 minutes depending what I have going on. At my 6 week check with my surgeon’s PA I asked how often should I pump up, he said when your not using it once or twice a week. I am using it 2-3 times a week, so probably don’t have to cycle, but still try to get in once a day to keep things stretched out.

My wife told the PA at my 6 week check, “It’s perfect, I can’t even tell he has an implant.” What more could I possibly ask for? What I am trying to say is, don’t stress out, everything is going to be just fine as long as the surgeon did a good installation and you have no infection. I was cleared for sex at 6 weeks, we cheated by 2 days because I had absolutely no problems and I wanted to test it before my 6 week appointment, everything works like it did pre-ED, everything. We are thrilled!

At my two week follow up I was way too sore for doc to deflate me. About had me on the ceiling trying. If you can't handle the soreness/pain just let your doc know.

For 60%, you will be good. I was about the same for 4 weeks. Didn't feel any pain. However, I got activated after 6 weeks, as I was still sore at 4 weeks.

When I went for my 2-week follow-up and deflation, the Dr. grabbed my sac and mashed the deflate button and proceeded to squeeze and bend my dick to force the fluid out. It hurt so bad I had to hold on to the counter to keep from falling down. I couldn't decide whether to pass out or throw up. He then proceeded to reinflate me to about 40%, said everything was fine and sent me on my way. It took a few hours to get over it. At 4-weeks went for activation with the AMS rep, and there was virtually no pain. So, it gets better fast.

Find a job you love, and you'll work with a boner for the rest of your life.

Hi

I came out of surgery inflated, I guess around 80%.

On the fourth day, in a lot of pain, in fact, I asked him a couple of times to stop, but he ignored me, lol, he was doing his job, he managed to deflate me about 50%. It was a huge relief, especially at the tip of the glans.

I tried on my own, to deflate the cylinders, but it was difficult, finally I managed to deflate a little more, but it self-inflated a little again.

On day 10 the doctor relocated the pump (a little discomfort and minimal pain) and completely deflated me.

In about a week and a half I'll have my appointment to teach me how to use the pump, which actually I've already handled a little.

Regards

My doctor is the same as yours--60% inflated for two weeks and then deflate.

I was damn sore for a few hours after he deflated me. But I wasn't too sore to go back to work the next day.
