Minnesota,

I have the same impressions with mine, it seems like the inflation has gone down and not as erect as before, but I think it is because the swelling has subsided. I try not to worry about any of this, we are only two weeks out and have not even been back to the doctor's office.

My pump seems further back and higher than I anticipated. Since both of our first appointments are 3 weeks post operation I don't know if they will cycle our implants or not and I don't know if we will be cycling after that appointment. Whatever it is, I hope you and I are on the same schedule so we can compare notes. These next few weeks are going to drag, but we do have a lot to look forward to. You are going to have so much fun! New relationships are so exciting, but there is comfort in having the same partner for 56 years!
Used Viagra & Cialis until lost vision in one eye due to AION, therefore can never use pills again, then tri-mix 1 1/2 years until unreliable. Implanted 9/20/22 at 77 years old by Dr. Yafi, UC Irvine. Married 55 years wife 76. 20cm Coloplast Titan.

That makes me feel better.. it just feels different. I know I’m probably overthinking it but I’m scared it’s gone down. Hopefully others can attest to my concern.. it’s still pointing at 3:00 so that’s good. Just seems like my cylinders aren’t as firm as before. Almost like it’s not holding my penis up as firmly as before, as well as the skin not feeling as tight

You asked about sleeping on my side, I don't have any discomfort sleeping on my side at least when I do a little rearrangement of my scrotum, so nothing gets clamped. my nuts are not used to their new roommate yet. I usually start out sleeping on my side, but when I wake up I am always on my stomach.

I too am noticing more sexual dreams, which is cool, makes me feel young again. In 12 days I will be 78, but sure as hell I don't feel like I thought 78 would feel.

Happy to catch up with you two, glad you're both doing well.
After my implant sleeping on my side was tough. I was always having to adjust the boys. Sleeping on my back has always been a no go, I just can't get to sleep that way. I've always been a stomach sleeper, but then for years we had a waterbed. Many nights I'd end up on my stomach and wake up hurting. Tried tucking a pillow under my stomach, which helped, until I rolled on to my side. Now I can tuck my shaft down my legs and sleep on my stomach until my back starts aching anyway.
AmansinCali- you are 10 years older than when I had my implant. Good for you for not giving up, you're an inspiration. Soon after my implant healed sexual dreams and my dirty thoughts returned.

Is it still hard to sleep sideways? Someone else said the same thing but it's only been 3-4 months since their surgery. Is it the shaft that causes discomfort or is there no way to avoid hurting the twins?

I can sleep in any position I want now. The pump just moves around with the boys.
At first it was both the pump and my shaft causing issues sleeping. Laying sideways my sack would get between my legs and squeeze the pump between the boys. I'd wake up and have to pull my sack forward. My shaft was stiff until about the 6th month so sleeping on my stomach didn't happen. I'm not a back sleeper, but at first had no choice. The tip of my penis would start to ache from the pressure of the covers.

Hi

Try using pillow between your legs for sleeping on your side. I am 2 weeks post surgery and it seems to work well for me. Last 2 nights have been the best for me and much more comfortable.

Lets me know if it works.

Glad both of you are doing just fine. Only thing I see is the pump being too high. I made sure I told the surgeon I wanted the pump down low in the scrotum. And it is the best thing I could have done. On my second revision they left it too high and with a eight inch shaft it would pull it up and it was like at the base of the cylinders. I did not like it that high made my errections look like I had a ball at the base. Had the third revision done and this other surgeon done a perfect job all around. I have had it now for a little over three years and could not ask for any better on my prosthetic implant.

Thanks RayChez. Who performed your surgeries? My pump seemed high but I feel it has came down some. My surgeon told me to not pull down on the pump at all

Definitely normal, mine did the same...and also, she never told me not to pull the pump down, however I never asked. I wonder if that's how I kinked it, I pulled down pretty good and long on mine cause it's much easier when it's at the lowest point...yolo...as long as it works I'm happy. So sad that you and I (age) will have to do this all over again like 4-5 times (let's hope they work for 20 years though!!)

Sorry to hear about your pain. I did infrapubic rt and pain wasn't that bad but i did lose some sensation also. I took 3 oxycodone one day about four days in. I also use med cannabis and that got rid of swelling and what pain there was pretty quickly. If your surgeon was competent, you'll really like the outcome. Take care Buddy!
