Thanks bro. Revision is bright and early Monday. Still haven't made up my mind which way to go. I wish that porn star who switched from a Titan to a malleable were still posting (even though I'm not hung like him and thus might not have a perfectly comparable situation).

Be carefull, the porn star wanted the malleable in order to make filming easier. Not because it was the best.
I haven't been in your position so my opinion might not be best for you. Please be carefull on your decision. I think if you get the malleable & end up not liking it. You'll have to pay full rate to get a 3 piece implant. No way to claim the malleable failed in order to get insurance to cover it. Basically, its a dead end road. Please be carefull.

Obviously everyone sees things differently but if it were me I would go with another 3-piece. I think the failure you experienced was unlucky and most likely wont happen again for quite some time. I dont know a great deal about malleable implants, but from what I have read, if implants in general are considered a last resort solution, then malleable implants are the last resort of the last resorts.

3-piece implants are the most popular because they are the closest imitation to our natural flaccid/erection process that they currently have. While its totally subjective, I would guess that a 3-piece implant is superior to a malleable in every way - except for reliability. 3-piece implants are more complex mechanically and therefore have more ways to fail.

If you get another 3-piece then you have to accept that at some point it will fail and probably alot sooner than if you had got a malleable - but I guess you have to ask yourself if the benefit of having a more natural feeling 3-piece is worth it, given that the statistics do show that a failure that early is not common at all.

So sorry for this bro.
Also consider that 3 pieces will get better and better in the future. Good luck!

Yeah i agree. At some point they will invent lifelong 3 pieces with better pump devices.

Had the revision this morning and decided to give Titan one more shot before going to a malleable. Check out my new thread for more info.

Month before last I went to a new doctor Dr Mason to explore the possibility of trading in my LG X for a malleable. So here is the deal. Right now my LG X starts at 12 mm and potentially inflates to 18 mm. The Titan starts at 18 mm and potentially inflates to 24 mm. Well because it's always technically inflated the malleable at the biggest only comes in 13 mm. But I was advised by the manufacturer that was a bad idea because of my condition I would not be able to pee. Well that's a problem so AMS makes a malleable that has 9 mm cylinders. So let's put this in perspective fully inflated to let's say 18 mm I have about a five and a quarter sometimes five and a half girth. Fully deflated to let's say 12 millimeters I'm at about 4 maybe a little more than four. So now we go down to 9 mm and that would put me permanently at less than 4 inches girth. For that and many other reasons my doctor told me to exercise my hands more and basically wait until there was no dexterity left to squeeze the pump and then get my malleable. Just a thought
