Yes, that definitely concerns me, as well. I try to immobilize the tubing with one hand so that the force isn't being passed along to the connection.

Does your partner find the tubing to be uncomfortable during penetration, does it limit your depth? Or is the tubing malleable enough for it to not matter?

I've been a coward and haven't done a test run with a partner yet, the hardware is so prominent below my shaft that I don't see how it wouldn't jab someone and I'm feeling self conscious about that.

Depending on its location, the bulged tubing might enhance your partner's experience (look up the term "french tickler").

All kidding aside (and the above is only half-joking), communication with your partner before and during sex is important. There should be no fear involved with intimacy with a partner. If you cannot talk to her about intimacy, I ask you how beneficial for the two of you is intimacy without communication? Of course, I am idealizing sex (which is not always the case, especially with one-night-stands or extremely casual encounters). But, I will suggest that you, as an implanted man and previously erectilely dysfunction man, should be accustomed to making accommodations and asking for your partner to make accommodations.

Short advice: Buck up. Tell your partner that you have this tubing issue (just as I imagine you told your partner you had an erectile issue before). I predict that she will surprize you.

Day 11 - 13 Update

Its been 13 days since surgery.

I'm worried about the protruding tubing in the scrotum, it really looks like it can affect penetration. My pump is on its side and stuck to the front & bottom of my scrotum. I'm going to see the doctor sometime this week to discuss options... I really don't know why its ended up like this I asked the doc to use minimal tubing and bury it as deep as possible.

I will let you know guys what he says and the course of action.

Im 8 months post op. Everything looks good ,feels good. back at my pre op size. The tubing curl is because he used a preconnected device. When my sac is retracted when cold its noticable and when sitting, when warm or standing it relaxes hanging down.the pump lays a bit sideways when cold. Took about 5 months for pump to release from sac and didn't ask uro about, but im assuming he attached it to the sac to hold in place until healed. Irritated the hell out of my balls for awhile, but now its all good. I don't notice it much anymore like it was. Once it softens ang gets good use it should relax well.

Good to hear Leebert, more success on the form, fixation was a real problem for me too im over a year and still have a little bit but its in a great spot so I didn’t care anymore, one of these days it will go, lol. I don’t think the Docs ever actually stitch some of us heal differently with a lot of fixation going on.
Congratulations on your new you

Day 16 Update

Hey guys, just had a check up with Dr Clavell and got some really good news!

Dr Clavell relieved all my concerns and I feel a lot better. He told me the tubing in the scrotum isn't an issue and should drop further when the pump settles. I should have no issues with deep penetration or rough sex. The pump should also become unstuck from the scrotum as soon as I start taking hot baths. He showed me how to inflate to 100% max and deflate.

I also emailed Dr Eid to get a second opinion on the tubing and he doesn't think its an issue. He said its a cosmetic thing and won't affect deep penetration or the life span of implant.

Overall, I'm very happy with the result and Dr Clavell's work. He was able to fix my twisted penis with plication and give me an implant in the same surgery.

I've been cleared to start cycling daily but I have to wait 6 weeks for sexual intercourse due to the plication.

That's great! Did Dr. Clavell ever share his infection rate with you during your initial consultation?

The kinked or doubled up tubing irritates the base of my penis and hurts for days after sex or masturbating. When my scrotum is retracted it's not too noticeable but when relaxed it's poking out at a 45 degree angle. I've been laying off cycling for a few days to give it a chance to heal. My wife is working with me now after I was able to cycle to 6" x 5.5" (which hurts but I guess I'll get used to it) and added a Levitra. I resembled my original cock and finally rang her bell. I still can't orgasm unless I help myself to the trigger point and then finish with her. I was scheduled for a revision of the tubing yesterday but put it off until I can travel to NYC to see Dr Eid or Houston to see Dr Clavell who thinks he can fix it prettily easily for me. I cancelled with my VA surgeon Dr Guise because she wanted to open the transverse incision again and I'd have to spend another 6 - 8 weeks recovering during the spring and summer. Dr Eid stressed the need for going to a surgeon who specializes in implants because getting it right the first time is paramount.
Thanks
