Starting my Bionic Journey

Postby Rider1400 » Thu Mar 03, 2022 7:16 pm

Contacted the Texas Urology Specialist today (DallasMens Health) Dr. Wierschem. Filled out some forms and waiting to hear back for my first visit. Does anyone on FT have any experience with Dr Wierschem? I’ve done my research and he is certified thru Coral Gables Florida. (Dr Perito) I sent Dr.Perito a request for info and they highly recommend him and said he is a great implant surgeon. On Dr Wierschems info page it says he’s in the top 95% fir implant surgeons in the US.
I’ve spoken to them once before and got the implant codes, Dr code and common diagnosis code… thru several hours on the phone I did find out that my BCBS of Illinois Insurance does in fact cover implants.. any input would be appreciated..
Thanks

The surgeon I used was never mentioned on frank talk before got on here. He was the highest respected urologist on the west coast who had been doing implants for 30 years. 300 a year volume. So if Perito recommends him, go for it. Some here will chime it that you need to go to Kramer or Eid.

So the journey actually begins this month. March24th at 9am I will meet Dr. Wierschem in Mc Kinney Texas and start whatever process it takes to begin my Journey. I’m 57 and not much gets my heart racing anymore as far as excitement goes… and thus may sound silly, but I got a rush and felt a little more excited than I have felt in a LONG time when I made that appointment. I’ve Faught this thing we call ED for about 12 years and every time I’ve had issues be it with pills for 10 years or the shots for the past 16 months it’s like it starts over again and again and feel like a failure…. So anxious for this journey and can’t wait to have a bionic pecker that will never…LET ME DOWN!!…. Look for post as I get thru this process. Starting my list for Dr although I feel very informed as Ive searched and read this sight for over a year… becoming my favorite pastime. Thanks guys for all the info!
