Does the size of the implant indicate anything about your penis size?

I have a a Coloplast Titan 22cm implant. The surgical notes indicate I have “11/11” ie 11cm inside and outside my body. Even after asking my surgeon 2 times, I still don’t understand why the significant variation from the standard ratios.
Prior to surgery I had a stretch flaccid of 7” measured by M.D.. Depending on how brutal the “pressed” in bone pressed erect penis (BPEP) is, the length is greater than that 1 year later. Go figure. I wonder if there is a significant part of this measurement protocol that parallels a fisherman’s size of catch…..maybe even mine. :D
At any rate, I hope to post a picture or 2 if I can get past a technical posting challenge.
You guys are the best. Thanks for the support.

I have the same measurements 22cm but with 1.5 RTE each side. Prior to surgery I was at 5” and never had ED only Venous Leakage and PE. I just had my surgery 3 days ago.
I’m thinking the 11cm is actually 4” each side ?

11cm each tubing = 4.33”
So does 22cm means I have a 8.66” ?

A lot of your penis is internal. Your implant length is for your visible penis plus what is inside your body.
So yes, technically you could say that you have 8.66" of implant but you'll never have anywhere near that as usable penis length.

I haven't kept up to date on this post, so sorry if I'm behind or missing stuff.

On the topic about the internal parts of our penises, I think what my doctor messaged me explains this pretty well:

During surgery your total penile length measured 24 cm which is about 9-1/2 inches. That is the total length including the part of the shaft goes up underneath your pubic bone in front.

I asked him for some specifics since I obviously don't have a 10" penis. He said:

There is a portion that goes underneath your pubic bone and in fact is attached to the pubic bone to help support the penis. We would put in the implant, we have to include that area in the total length of the implant. So while you are asleep we are able to place the measuring device down into that part in order to get the total length of the penis. So the length of the implant is longer than what you can actually see. In fact you may be able to even feel the implant in your crotch area where the cylinders go back along the penile corpora that far back.

Hey mate,

I have just had my surgery 3 weeks ago and started cycling this week.

I have noticed a massive loss of length and girth. I am only 4 inch erect now and quite skinny.

My pump is sitting really high in my scrotum and has somehow attached itself to the skin.

I've been stressing about this big time and raised concerns with my surgeon 3 times that I have seen him and he said it's nothing to worry about. Well it kinda is for me atm.

I have the AMS 700 LXG 24cm supposedly. Is there anything I can be doing to promote length and girth or am I panicking over nothing and length should come back? I was 7 inch pre op.

To people talking about the AMS and it's 24cm and 21cm sizes and stuff, I found this the other day:
The AMS 700 LGX implants became longer with increasing pressures, with the 21cm implant having the most change in cylinder length of 3.9 cm at a maximum pressure of 20 PSI. The AMS 18 cm LGX had a length change second to that of its longer counterpart at 3.1 cm at 20 PSI. The Coloplast cylinders may have minimal increase in length, although more replicates would be required to appropriately document this change. However, the Coloplast cylinders only had changes in length at higher-pressure loads.

Am I reading this correctly that studies are finding an 21 cm LGX increases up to being ~24cm bigger? Can I think suppose that a 24cm one can turn to like a 28cm one? Or something.

Mine is: "24 cm so we used a 21 cm implant with a 3 cm rear tip extender on each side"

A lot of people forget about the LGX's claim of up to a 25% stretch during inflation.

Implants have two tubes. They are side-by-side, not end-to-end.

So, you have an 11cm implant. But remember, some of that implant is inside you and not supporting the visible/usable length of your penis. And also remember that some of your penis (the glans penis) sticks out beyond the distal tip of the penis. I opine that most men have 1.5 to 2cm of flesh sticking out in front of the implant's tips. So, trying to relate an implant's size to penis' size is a fool's errand, as is trying to compare onesself to other men's implants.

And do not forget the rear tip extender(s) if you have any.

A couple of days ago I watched a really good YouTube video by Dr Clavell. In it he explains, very well I thought, the reasons why early aggressive inflations are critical for the LGX. He explains just how quickly the body begins to encapsulate the cylinders. The goal is to force the body to encapsulate at the largest size possible in order to take advantage of the LGX growth properties.
Since it seems like a lot of studies use 20 psi as a top testing point. I remember a few years ago some members calculated the pressure that could be generated by hand. As I recall, 20 psi was possible..........without using pliers or a hammer. :D
