I did not have a lot of incontinence after the prostatectomy, but the little that I had improved. I have even less now than before.

I cut out caffeine completely and it made a big difference. Also, I am now taking Myrbetrig and it improved the incontinence very nice.

Hi,
I also had RP surgery in the Summer of 2020. I did have some incontinence after surgery but it has improved over time. Right now I only use pads if I have to drive for long distances, for yoga classes, or if I am planning to go to a place were going to the restrooms will be difficult. I have not been able to regain my erections since the surgery. I have started the cycle to receive an implant but I don't have a date yet. So far, I just had my cystoscopy performed and my urologist told me my sphincter is looking fine and she was able to see it work. Anyway I am planning on discussing any options to fix this issue during my next urologist appointment in which we are going to talk about the implant surgery details and date - this won't be until the middle of May! I am looking to see if I can get an earlier implant date. It has been almost two years since I have been able to have sex with my wife and we are both going bonkers. We could have oral sex or sex with toys, but it will never be the same thing.
Goof luck on your surgery and may everything works out as expected.

I also use a condom catheter for long walks when restrooms are not available. Coloplast makes a great one. Convene and they have a small leg bag that is very comfortable. You can wear normal underwear with it.

Never had luck with the condom catheter when active. keeps falling off. got an aus but the 2 pumps keep my sack sore. Never had a sore sac with just the implant pump. With the incontinence you pee when you come. My wife hated that. even with the aus I pee a little when I come. BUT< I also cant quit the coffee.
