For my employee funded insurance plan thru Blue Cross Blue Shield, Peyronie's Disease is one of the only diagnosis codes to guarantee a virtually no questions asked approval. With my UroLift procedure for LUTS due to BPH, it took three appeals and a lot of doubt that it would ever be approved before they agreed to the procedure. With my IPP surgery, it was a slam-dunk on the first submission.
