I’m fit and healthy in other ways and look like a very healthy strong person
I’m
Ashamed
Of myself though no matter what and I’m sick
Of feeling like a loser

It’s awful what ED CAN do

For many of us, ED causes depression and feelings of self inadequacy and a sense that nothing is pleasurable in life anymore. For me, having erectile dysfunction made me feel like I was just going through life like a zombie, a zestless walking stiff with nothing to look forward to. Now, that is all totally better since I have been surgically cured of ED.
Yup, ED really messes with your mind and with your internal voice, and I discuss this in the second chapter of my implant mini-book here on franktalk if you want more info.

Funnily I think this is the question I am again asking myself.

I have been taking high doses of PDE5I and I can have sex with them, but only if I am aroused a lot and then it has all to go fast before I lose the erection (and I have to use lube). When penetrating with enough stimulation I stay hard enough, but recently I even have trouble to get hard with stimulation.

I am 27 and am suffering from this shit for 9 years now, had my first sex a year ago (since then with 3 different women, mix from injecting and taking pills).

Most probably an implant is the best thing to do...

I was 30+ years older than you when I finally got to your condition. My condition continued to deteriorate to the point that getting hard enough for penetration was possible, but keeping the erection required so much stimulation that orgasm/ejaculation/collapse was unavoidable and always too soon. At that point, Viagra successfully treated the problem, but the effects began to fade, Then cialis, then tadalafil worked for a while and lost effectiveness, each in turn.

After studying the options, I rejected the ideas of suppositories, Vacuum Device and injections and got an implant as the only solution remaining.

Back to the question of the subject line: About two or three years before implant, oral medications had lost effectiveness and I was not functionally potent in any way but fellatio or masturbation, of no use to my partner in coitus and functional in cunnilingus, masturbation of her by hands or by toys/tools and, of course, kissing, hugging, etc.
