Length
1st thank you so much for the show and tell. Because of it I have Questions: I saw alot of pictures where people had one size penis and then after their surgeries they end up with atleast and inch or two loss. Now I know that they gain that length back over time but is it more likely that they will gain their full length or just most of it? What's most likely?
32 yrs old. Newly developed ed with divorce and searching for solutions.
Re: Length
From what I've seen a great surgeon will keep your full length intact. Just a matter of cycling the implant everyday to work up to it.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.
Re: Length
Was with in 1/2 inch after surgery. At full length at 12 weeks.

Re: Length
Didn’t lose much from surgery, maybe 1/4 inch.
But I lost 1 1/2 with 20 years of ED.
If I could go back to when I was 30, I would have got an implant to preserve length.

Re: Length
I lost an inch but not due to surgery, but to getting fat. When I press in not even to bone I have every inch that I had as a teen.
So far due to weight loss from diet changes, mostly actual measurements than guesses for serving size I’ve gained about 3/4ths of an inch post surgery.
I’ve have heard that a prostatectomy almost always means size loss I suppose any loss due to implant is the surgeon didn’t size aggressively.
To the totally honest I’m glad I can get hard and enjoy sex again.

Re: Length
I really think it's up to the surgeon doing the procedure. Talk with them first and express your desire to maintain as much length as possible. That's something I neglected to discuss and guess I've lost about an inch. Think my surgeon clipped off some skin under my shaft which used to stretch when I got an erection. And it's still sore there after close to 6 months.

The loss of length after a prostatectomy is only temporary. The urethra is shortened because the part that was inside the prostate was removed. The penis is pulled back into the body. Using trimix or VAC will stretch the penis back out to full length. The IP doc can measure the full length and size it properly. Daily cycling will again stretch the urethra back out.

Re: Length
I am not sure. That is what the data says at the Prostate cancer recovery page. I was 5" flacid before RP. 2" after RP. Had IP 9 months after RP and been 5 1/2" flaccid since healing . 6" hard.
