Fully inflated, Partially Inflated, or Not Inflated?

I have had my implant about 2.5 years. I have had a lot of private messages in that time and many questions have been about pumping. Let me share my answers to questions I have had.

1. How many pumps to fully inflate?
It takes about 35 pumps for me to fully inflate. My penis is 6 3/4" hard and my reservoir is 100cc. I am not sure how that affects it, but my guess is guys whose penis are shorter or longer will all require different amounts of pumps.

2. Is your AMS700LGX hard enough for sex?
Yes, and actually it is harder than either my wife or I like. I generally only pump to 75-80% to reach a level that's most comfortable for both of us. We have sex 3-4 times in an average week in various positions and have never had an issue with rigidity.

3. Do you pump up when you masturabte?
I love to masturbate and do it every day whether we have sex or not. I sometimes pump all the way and sometimes as few as three pumps. Both are enjoyable, but different. Fully pumped I orgasm more quickly, but with just a few it is more intense. When I have time to play, I prefer fewer pumps.

4. Do you cycle?
I still cycle twice a day. I gained back all of the length I lost following long term ED, Prostatectonmy surgery, and Peyronies and don't expect to gain more, but I enjoy my process. I pump to the max as I am just beginning to wake up. Then I fall back to sleep for a while. When I wake up it is like the good old days when I had morning wood. I love that feeling and also enjoy getting out of bed with my hard dick leading the way to the bathroom.i pump up at night even if it's not a sex night. As I said I jack off, but I also enjoy just laying in bed to read and like the feel of my hardness against the sheets.

5. Are you deflated during the day?
I prefer to have a few pumps in while I am dressed. It makes my penis feel more natural and more alive. It provides just a slight bit of pressure so my penis presses against my underwear or pants and feels like it did when I was younger and easily got aroused. The difference is I won't get an embarrassing erection now like I did then.

6. Do you ever fully deflate?
I prefer to sleep fully deflated. I sleep nude and it allows me to roll over or be in any position and be comfortable. Another time when I go fully deflated is as an artist's model. When I am nude and in a reclining position my penis will not lay flat with even a couple of pumps in. I typically begin a class with several pumps in and do all of my standing, sitting, and kneeling poses. I have the one touch release valve so as I am transitioning into a reclining pose I push the release button and by the time I am laying down my penis is deflated and looks natural.

I think you are on a great protocol, which makes sense for a lot of guys.
I am, or was rather, on something similar. I stopped cycling however at about where you are now, and only inflate for usage since then.
I pump mine to the burst limit nowadays for sex, about 60 pumps, whereof the latter are just partials. Both me and my wife thinks that feels the best. However, up till around 3 years, I also did like you do, around 75%. Even 50% in the early days. At that time, we both thought it felt awkward with full inflation, especially me. What has happened since then is just that my dick feels more natural even with the crazy hardness of 60 pumps. Feels like my blood flow is better. Don't know why though.
I have been experimenting with keeping a few pumps in during the day, but have since a long time ago settled for staying deflated during the day. However, I do not squeeze my dick when I deflate, I just let the valve do its job. That means that I probably technically is not 100% deflated. I am not deflated to the point where I sqeeze my dick flat, and then lock the valve to sort of create a vacuum in it to keep it that way. It is deflated, but still round and naturall feeling. Plenty of pics in my thread. None of thos pics is after I squeeze my shaft to deflate, just pressing the valve and then nothing else.

As Greg says, sure it is nice to cycle just te have a hardon sometimes. But for me it is mostly about time. When I get up in the morning, I normally just gets on with it immediately. Get the emails from overnight read, cofee, gym, breakfast, shower, work. Sure, I could inflate while taking my shower and getting shaved, but I rarely ever do anymore. Did for the first 2-3 years though.
Finally, as I have said in the past, I also strongly believe in the logic that there is a correlation between frequncy of usage and time to failure. Any/most mechanic equipment will show a correlation between usage and MTTF as the engineers would call it (Mean Time To Failure). I just think it is common sense that if the weak link of the chain is the pump or the tubing, then the more often one uses the pump then the sooner it will fail. So I just don't want to reduce the time to next revision because the feeling of having a hardon when brushing my teeth.
But as I said, I did for the first two years or so, and I ended up with a longer dick than I had before the surgery, so all good.

I completely agree. The difference between you and I is that I will be 64 this week. I developed a Venous Leak at age 30 that was not diagnosed until I was 60. I am making up for lost time and enjoying every second of having a functioning dick. I realize I will likely wear it out more quickly with all the times I use the pump, but that is why I have it. If I was your age I would be more conscious of how often I pump it up. Cheers to hard dicks and great sex!!!
