If that question is for me, I keep my dick pointed up all the time. In clothes, my underwear hold it. In bed (I sleep nude) if prone, I do not fold it down. On my side, it hangs by gravity up and to the side. Supine, it lays on my belly.

If inflated, it points nearly perpendicular to my body (a little closer to my belly than my knees, but only a little). Inflated and in use, my girlfriend's vagina is in pretty good alignment. We like to have my coronal head press on her G-Spot.

So, for me, "up" is the way to go. I know that is not the preference for many men and some men cannot be comfortable that way. I know of at least one guy who cannot point up because his head would poke up past his belt buckle (poor soul!). But for me, it is my chosen orientation.

My surgeon suggested a couple weeks for sure pointing up, to a couple months. I figured it was to let everything heal in the orientation most effective for sex.

I have worn my dick pointing up for as long as I can remember.

Past puberty, my penis never did point down. As a "grower", it was not long enough to get past my balls to hang over. The little thing just laid atop the "shelf" of my scrotum. It was more comfortable (less chafing of the meatus against my underwear) to keep it pointing up in briefs. When erect, my 5.5" to 6" erection pointed up pretty well. At extreme erection, it would not point down without kinking the shaft.

Now that I have an implant, I am about 4"-4.5" flaccid and just enough to hang down if I wanted to, but I have less of a bulge in my pants if I point up. If half-inflated, it is much more comfortable than pointing down.

Besides, I like to keep everything "organized" down there. Just personal preference.
