Just back from 6 week checkup and activation

Postby Cajun Jeff » Wed Feb 26, 2020 4:20 pm

All went well. They gave me a demonstration of it being pumped up and releasing. Resident made the comment that the pump was not as stiff as they usually are. (I just smiled)

Told me to pump it us and release the fluid. I did with ease. He just looked at me with that knowing look. (I said "I have to confess I have practiced this a bit"

His response was " I just knew you would!"

He handed me the surgical report and I will a couple of lines from the first part of the report.

The Patient is a pleasant 68-year-old gentleman. The patient has extensively researched IPP and wish to go forward with AMS LGX model.

I thought this was funny.

Any way we are all systems GO!

So nice for one's hard work and preparation to be acknowledged. Especially if it gets you accepted as a full member of your medical care team.

Good for you. And good for your surgeon.
