Delfating

I have a question. Deflating fluid travels from cylinders to reservoir. But how long do you have to hold the deflate tabs to force all fluid out of cylinders? Does fluid remain in the cylinder portion that is in the body? So any fluid remaining can run back into the penis. Hence stiffness ?

I find when sitting penis gets stiff. When laying down it’s is more relaxed. Still stiff however.

I have an AMS 700 LGX. To deflate, I push the deflate button firmly. I feel a "pop" that indicates the valve has changed to deflate position, and I can tell it's deflating. I don't have to hold the button. I can feel a small vibration if I hold my fingers against the pump that tells me fluid is moving out of the cylinders. If I just leave it alone, I eventually deflate far enough to be comfortable and look inconspicuous. If I am concerned about the "bulge" or any remaining stiffness, I simply squeeze my dick with my fingers. I was told to start squeezing from the outside (nearest the head) and moving inward, one finger at a time. I still don't have to hold the button or push it again, the valve has already been shifted into deflate mode and stays there.

When I first started deflating, I couldn't feel that "pop" that indicated the valve change. Not sure why. I also had several attempts where I could feel the deflation start and then it stopped. I think I was not pushing hard enough of the deflate button, and perhaps the button was stiffer from being new. I don't have that problem anymore.

Deflated, my dick feels the same whether I'm standing, sitting, or laying down. Fluid does not go back into the cylinders until I start inflating by pushing the pump bulb. On the first press of the bulb, I again feel that slight pop that tells me the valve position has changed and I can inflate. Sometimes, especially if it's been a while since my last deflation, I don't feel the pop and my cylinders won't inflate. In that case, I push the deflate button, making sure the valve is in deflate mode fully and I can immediately start to inflate as normal

My experience is similar to yours. I firmly depress the deflate button for at least 5 seconds. I can feel and hear the vibration and I also force out the fluid with a very firm squeeze of my penis. I do get a gradual flow back of some fluid which is more pronounced when standing, less so when sitting. My Flaccid state now is definitely bigger and fuller than before. It does not feel completely soft like it did pre op. My inflated penis gets better glans fullness when I'm standing or sitting on the edge of a chair; much less so when lying down. I assume it is the effect of gravity (?).

I too, would like to know more about deflating. Once I get my permanent, I want to know how to deflate (details can come from someone actually using implant) properly and how to wear it. This is why I am an advocate of a show and tell:)!
