4 weeks post op question
4 weeks post op question
Well its 4 weeks post op. I am sore mainly because I have a erection 24/7. The penis is not as stiff as it was in the early days. Still pissing is always a mess. I just notice a slight turn down. I also have found the deflate tabs on the genesis (older titan pump). I can deflate and I assume sitting on my pump which also hurts slightly adds fluid to the cylinders. So now that I can deflate, has anyone tried inflating at week 4, or just wait when i see the surgeon in 2 weeks.?
Re: 4 weeks post op question
I have an AMS and my doctor said not to inflate until I had my follow-up at 2 weeks but I carefully inflated partially several times after day 7. Still had to do the "No Sex" thing for 6 weeks total though.

Biker: not sure my experience will do you any good.
I’ve got one of the doctors that suggests familiarization with pumping and deflating as early as tolerated. Generally by the two week mark.
I was scared as hell week two, a bit less cautious at week three, and at week four I just (a few minutes ago) am starting to get the hang of this.....after four weeks I was finally allowed a tub bath with nice warm water. Pumped that sucker up good. Enjoyed looking at it for 10 minutes. Then spent a rather frantic twenty minutes trying to find the deflate button.
As you can tell, i finally did or I’d still be in tub. I got what is probably my best deflation to date. Really flaccid with just a hint of stiffness where the cylinders are.
BUT
I’ve got an AMS LGX and you’ve got a Coloplast.
I didn’t have any Peyronies to fix and you did.
I was bruised and swollen as hell while you seem to have emerged less beat-up but I have no idea about any remnant or occult swelling you’ve got going on.
It’s usually better to follow your physician’s protocols.
Doesn’t your Doc have s PA or someone in his practice you can get on the phone and discuss discomfort/urination/other issues which might suggest it would be helpful to do some limited inflation/deflation? I think I’d try that before I did much.
FWIW, my Doc snd his PA both have told me not to be afraid of the equipment. I’m not likely to hurt it or myself.

Re: 4 weeks post op question
i had the titan implanted 7 days ago and am having the same issue as you. honestly it is the worst part of the recovery as im basically housebound and have too much time to worry about when this will resolve and how ill get back to work. i think most high volume guys have you start cycling way earlier than 6 weeks; i would call your dr for permission or an earlier appointment. the earlier you cycle the easier it will be keep the capsule from encasing a deflated implant. i was activated on day 3 and started to do light cycling on day 4 as instructed. I think this has soften things up a bit but it could just be time also. heat helps a lot to loosen the sack and find the pump landmarks and i was told to cycle in a hot bath-but my surgeon sealed the incision to withstand this. a heating pad should work also but check with your dr. best of luck.
22 +1 titan. January, 2020 with Dr Eid. Failed January, 2023. Seems to be a break in the tubing.

Yes, they say come over, and deflate. But now I think the PA was not actually deflating the release tabs are on each side, not front and back. So, I can deflate myself. And recently my perma erection is starting to turn down like a flaccid penis. Still bends to the left. But plaque and tubing is in that area. It does not bend up, so that was fixed. I did not realize with the swelling the Dr did reduced the ball sack so pump would fit correctly and that has kept penis stiff. All in all, swelling is really going down fast. I am a fan of homeopathy and arnica montana .
