Implant Surgery My Journey

Day Thirteen

Hey Guys yes its day thirteen of my implant journey and to this point I could not be more pleased with how things have turned out for me. Talking with several guys who had taken this journey before most had told me that ice was your best friend. I can testify to that fact. Thirteen days ago I had swelling and bruising in and around my scrotum from the surgery. This morning while getting out of bed I notice that my scrotum did not have the swelling that I had been having. Also, the swelling and bruising in and around my penis is almost totally gone. I have let up on the icing today because there is no longer any reason to ice and for that I am thankful. My incision is fully closed and there is no redness or signs of infection. Also, I had a small drain incision that had been left in because of oozing after surgery. It was taken out the Monday after surgery on Thursday. That drain incision also has completely closed and looks good. How any man can undergo this type of surgery and have the bruising and swelling that I had and not experience any pain is difficult to understand. I assure you I have little to NO pain! I also have some buddies that have had this surgery and they also had little to no pain. One thing I have learned with this experience is EVERYONE RESPONDS TO THIS SURGERY DIFFERENTLY. No longer using any Tylenol. I am not sure how much longer I will continue to post because honestly there is just not that much to post. My next doctors appointment is not until mid to late February. I am sure he will inflate my implant and begin cycling. Not much else to tell except if I need him prior to my six week appointment just call his office. If not he will see me in six weeks. It is amazing how far I have come in thirteen days. This post is not meant as medical advice because I am not a doctor. Please do not take it as such. This post is meant to help guys who walk this path after me.

I am one of his buddies that walked his road 4 days later. Just like him, not one day of pain. All swelling is gone. All bruising is gone. I make the trip to New Orleans next Tuesday. Will let you guys know what I find out,

I wish I had done this 2 years ago. The amount of lost sleep approaching my surgery was unreal. What a wast of time worrying.
