Pain after Surgery / Helps to laugh?

Postby Ineedaworkingdick » Fri Dec 20, 2019 5:49 am

Am currently in the throes of Day 5 Post surgery!

The pain is... Interesting. During the day it is relatively fine though at night when lying down in an effort to sleep it absolutely rears its head. I have only ibuprofen for the pain and wonder if something stronger would be better but for now will see how it goes!

Had a hilarious morning in that I have been fighting the urge to sneeze on and off for about 48 minutes now. I know full well what pain will greet me if I do sneeze but I can't make it go away hahahahhahaha.

And there is something ridiculous about having to conceal your penis surgery from a group of girls who come to visit you after 'stomach surgery'. I do not know how people go through life events such as this without a sense of humour.

10/10 we could write an Oscar-worth film about our problems!

400mg this morning but haven't had anything since waking up.

I just removed some of the dressing as the consultant said okay to do so at this point. I now have my first look / feel of my penis bar the base of the shaft / scrotum which are still covered by the joxk support and associated dressings (need to stay on for a few more days).

My penis feels... Different. It was deflated as I left the hospital but it feels hard and is certainly more girth than when was flaccid previously. The head then looks slightly thinner than the shaft.

Is difficult to judge size atm tho I know I shouldn't even try until inflation at the very least so will try not to dwell on it too much. For now I am grateful to have removed what dressing was allowed as feels more comfortable!

I'm walking around a lot now without issue which is great as feel more alive! The cabin fever already kicked in strong and there's only so much Netflix a man can watch! :)

The biggest hindrance now is having the jock strap as it holds my penis out at a rising angle and so looks like I have a bone when standing.

One thing I found that helped with sleeping was to lay on my side with a pillow between my knees. Also wearing my 2-pouch briefs after I was able to get them on.
