Growing pains…
Growing pains…
Cycling tonight, I felt the tips of the implant. Both are definitely in the glands and all is hunky-dory in that department. The left is a little longer than the right… Normal? I imagine not everything is symmetrical… Probably half centimeter to 1 cm difference? Also, when I pump up, The implant isn’t 100% straight when it’s in my body… There’s bends probably about half of an inch under where the distal part of my penis ends… The one on the right curves out towards my thighs about half of an inch and the one on the left is probably an inch… It’s like when a tire has a bubble in it… is this normal? I assume that’s all going to be where my growth comes from? I honestly have no idea… we got a little bit curious tonight and did a stretch test with it inflated… See kind of how much extra there is, you know? The stretch of all of the extra at the end of my penis measures just above 6.75! I think my internals are just a little swollen and healing still? it’s all patients and I know that! i’m half Russian… Patience is really not my strong suit… maybe the half Cherokee part of me could start working a little harder on that? anyway, thoughts and opinions appreciated as always!
Implanted October 2019 Dr. Kramer lgx 18 cm +2 rear tips. Preop at 6.75 post op 5.25... awaiting revision… Implanted for possibility of having our first child.
Re: Growing pains…
In my case the tips of the cylinders extend equally into my glans and the two cylinders stay parallel as far as I can feel them inside my body. Where you are saying yours stick out sounds like question to ask your surgeon.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.
Re: Growing pains…
@WhiteCane, I wonder if you're referring to something similar to what I have. Mind you, my cylinders were short-sized due to limited depth of the proximal corpora due to fibrosis. I've got maybe 0.9 to 1.0" of penetration in my body so the rear tips and tubing are very prominent at the base. I have the front of the hard plastic rear-tips right at my groin or base of my penis. The tubing comes out of the corpora from the sides and curves down under the skin, joining the reservoir tubing on the left side, tied together in front of ridge of my corpus spongiosum with non-absorbable sutures and then down into the left side of my scrotum to the pump.
The rear tips and tubing is very palpable at the base, in my case. I wonder if that's a similar situation in your case?
