Implant cylinder

Postby Magicmike » Sat Oct 26, 2019 10:11 am

Does the size of the cylinder tell you how much lenght you will get after implant. Example. 24 Titan should give your 7 inches. 22 Titan should give you 6.5. I know everyone is different but am I on the right track. Replies are appreciated

There have been several threads talking on or around this topic. The conclusion I would draw from them is that each person's anatomy is so different that any generalization is not going to be reliable. Any other viewpoints out there?

We are different in our anatomy so there is no exact results. 20cm cylinders in one will differ from person to person. That being said some have used a general average of 1/3 of the cylinders inside the body and 2/3 being in the visible shaft. Again some have less and some have more. For example, I have 21cm cylinders and 1cm RTE for a total of 22cm and measure from pressed bone at 6" or 15.3 cm. I also have a LGX which is advertised to expand up to 25%. Using the 1/3 rule with my 22cm total would mean I should have a bone pressed measurement of 5.75" or 14.6 cm. So I am 1/4" to the plus side of that rule but I could be 1/4" to the short side. Or even more or less either the plus or short side. So the 1/3 thing is just a ballpark thing. No way to tell for sure until after surgery and things have healed and cycling until gains have ended. For me that took about a year.

My calculation gives a best guess of 6.3" for a total using a 24cm implant.
