Implant Lifetime

Postby barrosa » Tue Oct 22, 2019 6:53 pm

Hey guys,

What is the lifetime of an implant?

I am worried because i am young and i wouldnt like be surgered each 5-10 years because my implant needs to be replaced.

I was thinking to choose semirigid implant instead to hidraulic implant in order to avoid that.

Also, every implants has lifetime warranty? If it fails.. i dont have to pay again?

Thank you!
32 years old. ED all of my life alleged by venous leak.
Surgery 05 Feb 2020 by Dr Roselló (Spain)
Titan Touch 20 cm + 1,5 cm RTE

There are guys here who have had implants over 15 years and others replaced much sooner. Your logic about semi-rigid sounds right, but my surgeon said the constant pressure in the inside of the glans can cause erosion of the tissues and that becomes a problem needing to be corrected.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.
