Those who went to America for treatment, what kind of Visa did you need?

Did you apply for a special medical visa, or a standard visitors visa?
26 year old with lifelong venous leak. Hoping to get an implant soon.

Why going to America for treatment? Most people here complaining about their implant got treated in America. I received my implant in Germany, it couldn’t be better. In my opinion there is only one surgeon in America for whom I would do the long trip: Dr. Eid. In other words, if you want to see Dr. Eid, go ahead. If you want to see not him but another one, think twice....

There are actually a lot of bad reports about leiber as well on german pages...

Fake News :P I know a couple of his patients, all are very happy, one wrote a book about his experiences. Dr. Leiber is a great doctor.
