When you know in advance that sex with mama-san is not on the agenda, think of the injections as "recovery therapy". Get that sucker hard, grab some lube, and pleasure yourself. Use visual stimulation if it enhances the experience. The goal is to get the blood flowing, the nerves awakened and/or rerouted, and all the pleasure centers up and running. There is definitely a therapeutic side-effect with trimix. I now get spontaneous "risings" at random times during the day and night just like I did when I was a teenager. They're not as strong as they were back then, but they are much better than the limp noodle I had just a year ago. Don't give up man. This is too important.

Hey bedj!

The sexual therapist provided at my uro clinic has been a great overseer. You don't want to start off with a bad scene as in priapism or aching prick. You don't need to frighten the wife as they need to get their head around something as "unnatural" as injecting this sensitive and personal area of your body.

The responsible specialists and suppliers should always be starting you on a conservative dose. Your uro or therapist should really do it for you or stay with you as you are doing it in the back room of the clinic. If it's a conservative amount you will get a mild reaction and be able to take your "chubby" home in your pants. If you have a full-on woody at the clinic there are issues surrounding get out of there and getting home!

Most men will experience pain from prostoglandine/prostin/Caverject which are all the same compound and are found in Trimix but not bimix. It is unfortunately the most effective med but when in small dosages with papavarine and phentolamine (regitine) as in trimix will cause just a little ache for most men. I no longer experience any pain after 20 shots experience.

The other part is making the process smooth and easy. I preload my syringes after I get my trimix kit and store in a tupperware container in my refrigerator. I conceal it at the back with a paper towel lining to avoid embarassing questions if someone is getting the wine out! I make sure I am relaxed and seated in my bathroom. I "prime" the penis a little to give it a bit of "body" and then try to be accurate, consistent and inject slowly. If any resistance is apparent I withdraw and reinsert elsewhere.

Many guys find that the compound can be injected and they can quietly engage in foreplay prior to erection really starting in earnest. This makes for a natural arousal scenario if that's important. Others may find with venous leak that they need to get the engorgement happening and even use a ring to ensure it doesn't escape, but I'm not speaking from experience.

I vowed and declared I would never stick any needle in my prick but circumstance can really change your attitude. What seemed unthinkable is now very doable and I have a good routine even after just a couple or three months. The potential benefits as penile therapy are worth keeping in mind - that was the only reason I "gave it a shot" in the first place.

These are exactly the kinds of details that we novices need. Thanks so much for your helpful plan. Littlejohn

These are exactly the kinds of details that those of about to begin injecting need to hear. This is the day I go in to see the uro's nurse for how to do this. My question is, "How do you get out of the office with an erection without being seen by everyone in the waiting room. Is there usually another more private exit for those leaving with an erection?"Littlejohn

LJ:

On a test I had I wore loose baggy jeans with a shirt with a long shirt-tail worn out. No problem as it covered well and; remember almost all patients in a waiting room or the hallways will not look at our special region. . . .

In fact, it was sort of special and titillating to know and walk forward with a smile !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just a thought,

Patients in the waiting room of a urology practice are worried about their own hoohoos. They're not looking at yours.

Funny story: My new Uro, who got me on Trimix, shot me up with a 30u amount the first time (I use 10u now for 2hr goodness), so that really really did the trick. He came back in after a few minutes, checked it out and declared it a Really Good One, and as I was trying to stuff back into pants said "Good luck getting out of here with that!" ... Luckily I had brought in a paper folder with some extra papers for him so I at least had the folder as a shield on the way out. This is a regular clinic for all patients and the Uro is there one day a week. The waiting room was empty when I went in, but when I came out was packed with -- Ladies, Ladies and more Ladies -- So used the folder in a casual sort of shield to one side. Reminded me of those High School days gone by when you got the inadvertent hard-on during class and then had to walk out with it at the end of the period! Notebooks and folders helped then too!

Up and at em!

I have been injecting myself since my prostate surgery last June. I use a Bimix and get it from a pharmacy in Centreville, MD. They charge me $65 for the pleasure. My insurance takes a whopping $20 off of that bill. I started out at 15 units (1cc syringe, 31 gauge, 5/16" length) per shot and eventually got up to 35 units jumping 5 units per shot. I found out that more just meant longer (duration) erections. Longer erections equals pain. I have since backed off to 18 units. I don't have to use a pain releaver at this dosage and the erections are nice and hard. Plus, they do not last longer than 1.5 hours. Pills do nothing for me, so it is injections for now until natural erections arrive (1 year, 2? who knows).

The injection is not painful once you get the technique down . Your Physician will show you how to administer the injection and on the second visit if you ask your Physician he will watch You give yourself the injection and correct you if You are not doing it correctly . Why No Sex Afterwards ???? If You want Sex Afterwards : Go For It
