Injections and cock rings

Hello all. I have pretty severe ED. Pills never worked, pumps have been cumbersome and didn't feel right. Injections worked for a while, but now I can get hard with an injection but not stay that way. My uro has suggested an implant, and I'm leaning that direction but I want to make sure I try everything before taking that step.

I've been pouring over the posts here - what a lot of great information - and I've just learned that some men find injecting while using a cock ring helps keep the wood hard longer. Here are my questions:

1. Do you inject first, then put on the ring or put on the ring and then inject? I've seen info both ways. I don't get hard at all before the injection, but what I've read seems to indicate that using the ring first keeps the gains you eventually get and keeps the trimix from flowing out of the area where it is needed.

2. Do you just go around the base of the shaft or around the whole package. Someone in chat today (thank you!) said the vein you need to block is on the top of the shaft at the base, so perhaps you could do either. What gives the best result?

I'm not trying to get the feeling you get from pumping with a medical ved and then putting on a constriction ring, just want to keep the erection I get from injecting to last longer. Your thoughts would be appreciated. I know some of this is covered in other posts, but some of the posts are older and conflict a little.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't thought about the shaft placement causing some trouble for my wife. Good to know. Does it seem to help you maintain your erections better than not using a ring. I guess it must or you wouldn't do it.

I slip one on immediately after or just before injecting, then massage for 4-5 minutes. I usually take it off after that.

I prefer the whole package. It feels better and seems to work better for me. Just on the shaft is actually uncomfortable for me.

I ordered several sizes to try out and at least one that should fit over everything. They should arrive tomorrow and I'll see what happens.

I think I'll try injecting first and then use the ring. Lots of fun to try new things.

The wife like it that way so that's important. Also, when worn on the shaft she sometimes complains about the ring bruising her lips, which is bad.

An inexpensive way to test whole package constriction is to use a doubled over 1/2 inch rubber band. Lube is required.
