Pain relief?
After second home injection, first with new Rx, I have experienced soreness borderline major discomfort after sex. Though my erections have not been "rock hard" like a teenager, they have been adequate for sex... I am not complaining. The pain starts after we are through and in the wait period for it to go down. So far I have experienced prolong erections semi to hard, one being +4 hours, the other +3. Decided to take the Sudafed at the 3 hour mark last night but the erection subsided before the meds could take effect. Pain was completely gone about the 3.5 hr. mark. I have had NO problems with the initial stick. Any suggestions? My new formula after the doc made an adjustment after my starter dose and the +4 hr. erection is 30-20-2...10 units. I was thinking about cutting back on the next try.

Re: Pain relief?
Have you been without an erection for a long time?? Read a paper where it equated an erection that has not been used to a muscle that has not been used. Penis will be painful just like any muscle that has not been used for a long time then over exercised. You just pumped up a muscle hard, right. Being allergic to PGE-1, the pain starts immediately at the time of injection. First thing on your mind is,, Get the Sudafed NOW. NO, not sex first, NOW. My pain on the scale of 1-10 was 15.

Agree with Oldbeek. Chances are that pain will go away over time as your body (and penis) adjusts. Give it some time. Also, consider injecting a bit less of the drug and see if that helps. Good luck!
I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

I used the pump with tension rings for the last several years. I'm not sure if thats the same as having a regular erection or not. I'm going to cut back a couple of units for now and see how it goes. It looks like its going to be a learning curve with this so I'll take it low and slow.

Anyone experience this pain?? After a good erection and using it for about 30 minutes. The next day I still have a stabbing pain in the right side of my groin area. 3rd day it is still there but not as bad and going away I think.
