Just had 1st injection of Tri-mix. I believe it was .4 ( not sure what that means). Liked it it work to get me semi hard. This was done at mens health clinic in Stl. Way expensive. I need help finding a urologist that will prescribe Tri-mix and a pharmacy (compound) in stl area. or better yet southeast mo. Hope to get amount of injection figured out.

0.4 ml is the same as 40 (insulin) units. Most syringes readily available at compounding pharmacies and drugstores are designed primarily for insulin injections, hence the barrel is marked off in 1 unit increments. A 40 unit injection is equivalent to 0.4 ml. To your question, 40 units is not small, but it's also not huge. If your erection was not totally satisfactory, bump it on up. Having said that, talk to your urologist before doing anything.

I think the key is what the formula was?
It was probably pretty weak, and you obviously need a stronger formula.

I agree with Tomas, you must have a weak "Starter" formula, especially if you started at 40 units. I progressed thru 3 scripts until I found the right one at 30 Units.

Questioning the formula is good. That's a factor I often neglect to mention. My uro got mine exactly right the first time and It's still the same after 7 years. The only variable I've ever had to deal with is dosage. Good comments, peeps.

That's right. The formula is key.
I started with Bi-Mix and needed a full 1 ml to work. I switched to Tri-Mix 10/0.5/30 and was good at 0.6 ml.
I have now been "upped" to 10/1/30. Although I haven't used it yet, I will first try at 0.5 ml, and I'm hoping that can be decreased.

I agree with the previous posts. You'll probably need a stronger formula.
As for Uros I wouldn't have any idea as I don't live in St. Louis although I did years ago. As much of a medical town as it is there has to be many there. Depending on how South you are Memphis might also be an option for both doctors or pharmacies. I wouldn't hesitate to cross the state line if the distance was reasonable.
You might want to talk with your GP and see if he/she will work with you. I had to do that. My GP wrote me a script that I took to a compounding pharmacy and I pay $120 for 10 ml in 1 ml vials. I knew what formula I wanted and my GP wrote it how I requested. You might be lucky and have a GP that will help you out that way.
Once you get a script in hand you can shop pharmacies. If you can't find a reasonable one in St. Louis or Memphis, if that's an option, then try one of the on-line pharmacies:
Olympia -
http://www.olympiapharmacy.com/Talon -
https://www.taloncompounding.com/Empower -
https://www.empowerpharmacy.com/or even Defy -
http://www.defymedical.com/ which can help with your script, obviously at a cost. I believe they use Empower.
I don't know which of these can ship to Mo. Maybe all and maybe none. Looking at their site it appears at least Talon can.
I pray you have success on your journey. Be patient and try not to get frustrated if it takes a bit to get it all sorted out.
