Long lasting erections

Postby rancherejim » Wed Sep 20, 2017 11:48 pm

I have been on tri-mix and bi-mix for a couple years. Bi-mix is really hit and miss. When I use tri-mix my erection will last 4 to 6 hours, anything over 2 hours is very painful. My UR has changed the mix a couple times with no help. Makes no difference if I use 10 units or anywhere down to 3 units. Almost always the same thing.
Viagra has quit working all together plus it takes my climax away also. When I do use tri-mix everything works great but after 2 hours it's no longer any fun at all.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem and if so what have you done to fix it?
Thank you for any feed back that is offered.

Wow, seems a strange problem. I can't imagine I could offer anything the doctor wouldn't already have thought of. I do wonder what alprostadil ratios he's tried as it seems like you need alprostadil but have an extreme reaction to it. I'd think a tri-mix that only has a touch of alprostadil would be the ticket but surely the Doc's already been there.

Good luck and I sure hope you get it worked out.

What's the strength of your Trimix prescription?
Mine is 40/30/2, which is very strong. At the bedinning even 3 units were too much so I mixed it with steril antibiotic water and used only 2-3 units. After 8 months either the potency of my Trimix is diminishing or I'm getting used to it, but now I'm using 4-5 units and still have 3-4 hour erections, but not painful just uncomfortable. I like to have sex for a long time about 2 hours. So if I have an erection for another extra hour, it's not a big deal.
You should either get a weaker prescription or dilute the one you have to 1-2 units.
All the best!

Two hours would be fantastic! When you say uncomfortable can you describe that feeling any other way? Is it an ache? Throbbing? Burning? I am thinking of trying injections in the near future.

falcon62,
Absolutely, you should try injections. They work great for a lot of people. There is a learning curve and often a break in period but they can produce very favorable results. Don't let the frequently reported unpleasant experiences posted here scare you. I suspect the vast majority of men that injections work well for have never been on this forum. Give it a shot (yeah a pun) and happy hard-on.

My 10 unit erections typically last a couple of hours or more. I usually go to sleep before it's back to "flaccid" and wake up the next morning just fine. From time to time, I will wake up and find a still throbbing erection after 3 or 4 hours. That starts to ache a bit and I find it difficult to go back to sleep. My remedy of first resort is wrapping the erection in a warm wash cloth and walking around the house--pacing, if you will. The warm cloth may seem counterintuitive, but heat prompts blood to flow. An erection that lasts too long means the blood is NOT flowing out my penis as it should. The pacing part is about getting the blood flowing a bit more vigorously all over. I actually count my steps--focusing on the steps helps to take my always horny brain off the raging hard-on I have. Plus, I learned from experience that sitting down means putting pressure on the internal section of the penis. That tends to hold the blood in when I want it to flow out. Early in this journey, I guessed that I could I just whack off and that would satisfy the little man. Nay, nay! That kind of vigorous massage just made it harder and harder. Things like soaking in warm bath or even just taking a shower can also work. The main thing about taking a shower is that it usually prompts evacuation of the bladder which also tends to assist in the deflation. I have accomplished much the same thing by slowing pouring a pitcher of warm water over the offending member while standing over the toilet. When all else fails, I have taken Sudafed. It's been a good while since I needed to do that, so I don't remember the dosage. Others may have better data on that solution.

I've learned as I get older that once you start taking medicine for one booboo, you often end up taking another drug to relieve the side effects of the first medicine that happens to be keeping you alive. Same thing can be said of Sudafed. I don't like taking drugs, but if a little pill like Sudafed can allow me to have awesome boners without surgery, I'm all in.

Hope this helps. I'm happy to answer any specific questions. Hard times to all.

my erections last up to about 2 hrs. i inject 20units give or take or 30/4/7.5 (pap, phen, alpro). i wish i could get 3 hours. at about the 1 hr mark it begins to fade but still usable for penetration. at the 1.5 hr mark it begins to hang down, somewhat flimsy, 4-5 hardness.
i'd love a firm 2+ hr erection.
i do have a slight venous leak too. at higher levels of alprostadil, i got the ache. i went down to 2.5mcg, then to 5 and now at 7.5 mcg. next script i plan to ask for 10mcg. i get very little ache now so maybe that's the ticket to longer lasting.

I've been using Trimix for about 3 months now. Definitely had a few painful and somewhat scary episodes. I started off by using about 8 - 10 units which seemed ok in the doctors office but when I tried it at home I had a painful erection a couple of times that lasted over 6 hours. I get my Trimix from a mens clinic and they offer a antidote (at a cost of course). Thankfully one of the office people met me there at 6:00 am on a Sunday to help me out otherwise I was headed to the emergency room.
Since then I have purchased a couple of the antidotes that are preloaded in syringes ready to go if needed. I have had to use them about 4 times. It definitely takes a little while to figure this stuff out.

I don't know what my formula is but I will find out. I know it's not the normal dosage. I have learned that the injection site plays a big part in how effective it is. If I see a spot of blood when I pull the needle out then I know it's gonna work. I now know where is best to stick my pecker. I am down to using about 4 - 5 units and that will give me a nice rock hard erection for about 3 hours. I use it well. I have had a few misses but I am getting better at where to poke myself.

It's definitely a learning curve and I am thankful I have some antidotes. Does anyone else use a clinic or URO that will give you antidotes ? I have not seen anyone post on that topic.

Thanks

Try drawing back on the plunger before pushing it in. If you draw blood into the barrel of the syringe, you're in the sweet spot. If not, you're not. It's that simple.

OTC Sudafed is a great antidote. You have to sign for it (federal registry) at the pharmacy because it has some ingredient that can be used in a meth lab or something. They don't want you going from store to store buying up large quantities.

Good luck.

I usually have pretty intense sex for about 2 hours with a girl when I'm ready to come. After I ejaculate I still have full etection for another hour or so. Interestingly most of the time even get harder. But after 2 hours of vigorous sex I don't feel like doing it again for like a day. The girls are exhausted too and don't ask for seconds lol. I just put on a tight underwear, some shorts and a long dress shirt to cover up my boner and spend the rest of the time with the girl.
When I started injections I had moderate pain, but once I got the right dose at 4-5 units it is only annoying tightness and pressure. Nothing that bad.
