Re introducing injections.

After getting diminishing effectiveness with injections I ceased using injections about four months ago. When I started three years ago I could achieve great one hour errections with 15 units. After a year, the effectiveness started to wane until 70 units of double the strength could only produce a nice semi. Since then I have been relying on. VED.

I was wondering if after a four month break from injections, that a reintroduction of injections would once again be effective. Anyone have any experience in this regard?

I am not a doctor and I have not had your experience, but I would give injections another try. After all, you have nothing to lose. I treat Trimix like all other drugs. As long as I am following safety guidelines I am willing to take as much of the drug as necessary for the desired effect. I currently use 100 units for a quality erection. You may find injecting a few more units helps you also.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Over the last several months I've been experiencing the same thing. Unfortunately my urologist is ultra ultra-conservative and he will not up the strength of my trimix. I originally started by going to one of those Ed clinics that guarantees an erection or your money back and they prescribe quad mix which work wonderfully however my local compounding pharmacy had a contract with numale on quad mix so they couldn't fill it for anybody but them so the urologist prescribe trimix after a few months of satisfactory but not great results he up the strength to their next level but the Dr. won't go any higher than that he's pushing for an implant.

So now I'm looking for a urologists that specializes in Ed because I do know there are much stronger trimix and quad mix mixtures out there simply looking online and reading a lot of other guys formulas here. Don't give up try a better urologist perhaps that's more comfortable in writing stronger prescriptions.

That sounds like one crappy urologist. I'd guess there are lots more in Vegas. Ask the compounder what doctor prescribes the stronger formula.
I just had my primary care doctor pick up the tri-mix prescription and he did it without question.
Problem is he didn't write it for any refills. I guess I'll have to beg for the refills if I need them.

@tomas1, yes I have thought of asking the pharmacy. Unfortunately I had a woodworking accident and I'm missing a few teeth so needles to say I'm very imbarised about seeing another DR, or anyone for that matter until I get my face fixed.... which the oral surgeon tells me will be about a month total. :o so im just kinda hanging waiting it out.

I usually just injure fingers on table saws when wood working.
Luckily, the kerf was set only at 1/4", but 3 fingers didn't like that.
Don't even ask me about garage door springs or falling off a roof lol.
Good luck with all this.

I see you started trimix 5 years ago (according to your sig below the post 8/11?). Also, you're diabetic and now 73. Perhaps diabetes and physical condition (leak?) has taken it's toll? You might want to try again, this time using cock ring (adjustable or removable) AFTER injecting. That's what I do.
Certainly worth a try.

Hey Rahod!

You are correct. I guess time goes by fast when you get older. Actually, I am now 74. I haven't figured out how to make the change, yet.

I use constriction bands (Osbon) together with my VED and have on occasion used them with Trimix when it started to become ineffective. However, the reason I moved on to Trimix was to avoid the loss of sensation caused by constriction.

I still have some Trimix in the freezer so I will give it a second chance and let you know the results. When I first started Five years ago, it took three or four times before it reached peak efficiency. Accordingly, it may take several weeks.

Here is my experience with going back to injections after long term use.
My pge1 injections became ineffective after around 17+- years of injecting.I went to bi mix and it was effective for a while. I then went to a strong tri mix and it was great for about a year. But I noticed a thickening band of scar tissue forming around the entire shaft in the areas I had been injecting. I had a hard time injecting into that area because the plunger would not go down or if it did it took a lot of force.
I decided i would finally get an implant. The Doc did an ultra sound and agreed that there was some scar tissue in that area but thought he could get through it to place the implants. He warned me against tri mix because one of the ingredients can cause more scarring than the others but I don't remember which. I do know that PGE1 is the safest. He injected on either side of the scar tissue and I got a great response. I now have to wait till next year for an implant because of insurance (those fu*king SOB's). So I am back to injecting only PGE1 to keep additional scarring to a minimum and so far I have had great results. I just have to feel for the scar tissue and make sure i am on either side of it. I would check and see if you have anything else going on in the spots you usually inject and so avoid them and if not give the injections another try. Oh, forgot to mention I laid off injections for 3 months and noticed the scar tissue was reduced by about 20% but that is subjective.
