Muse vs Trimix Gel

Postby bumpintheroad » Sat Sep 26, 2015 8:48 am

I know this has been discussed before but I am needing some feed back. I have an appointment to see an ED specialist and will probably be given the test for blood flow. The reason is to discuss trying maybe MUSE or Tri Mix Gel or maybe Tri Mix injections. I am 4 years post robotic surgery and the nerves were saved. I did try Edex which worked great but had the associated pain and I started to develop curvature/indentation so I stopped the injections. I don't know if this was caused by the injections or maybe the surgery. This was almost 3 years ago. Since then I have only used the VED. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and if after a wait they resumed injections or switched to MUSE or the Tri Mix gel with positive results. Thanks for any feed back.

I tried Muse several times - not only did it not work, it caused a considerable amount of discomfort. I then tried Viagra and it worked very well for several years, and then it too stopped working. At that point I tried injections - different mixes and dosages - but with no success at all.

Muse did not work at all for me. Just caused pain. Injections gave me curvature as well. I went with an implant and couldn't be happier.

Thanks to the replies concerning the Muse vs Tri mix Gel. I went to an ED specialist yesterday. We talked about available options and he examined me. He did detect small scar tissue at the left base of my penis. I went over with him in detail about the curvature and "dent" where the scar tissue is I told him that the curvature ( which) when using the pump does not prevent me from having sex. So we decide that I would try in the office Bi-Mix. My question (s)/advice from those who may have gone through this similar experience is when re =starting injections did the curvature/dent continued to stay stabilized or did it get worse. I am planning on using this injection( if it works) maybe every 10days. Also did you inject on the same side and stayed away from the area with the scar tissue. He also offered to give me a sample of Stendra but since it has not been on the market very long , I declined until later. Has anyone used this with positive results. I know this is a long post, maybe I'm chasing a ghost here, but I'm just trying to regain as close to pre-prostactomey erctions as I can. Thanks

When discussing options with my urologist MUSE came up. He said MUSE stands for:
M...must
U...use
S...something
E...else

I used everthing else available, pump, pills, injections and ended with an implant, but no MUSE :)

Bump...

I have been using Trimix injections for 4 years.... I developed a slight curve (to the left), and urologist said to inject mostly on the right side.
I followed his advice, and the left-curve disappeared. I like the Trimix because there is never any pain (except a slight "poke" )in the outer skin.
I worked my way down to just 3 unit injections, which I increased up to 5 units now. I would have no problem recommending trimix to any one.

Tried the gel at 1500-300-100. Verrrrry little impact on me.
I did a double dose so... 3000-600-200 and only about a 50% impact for a very short time...
The gel did not work for me and was very expensive...
Looking at checking out the "real deal".... Trimix injectable....
Some good info here on Trimix injectable... excelmale.com
YMMV on the gel....

Trimix injections worked well for me for a little over 2 years before it stopped being effective. I had some amazing erections with trimix but you had to block out time for sex, the erections lasted so long it was like an event.
