When to give up

5 years ago I started using injections when sex became impossible. I tried various formulations of trimix and in various amounts but never got any kind of usable erection. I came back to this site and saw the downloadable injection formulation sheet. I had not tried quadmix of any larger number of ingredients. I took it to my urologist who prescribed quadmix. I once again tried it in various amounts. Still nothing.

I am a 67 year old Type II diabetic which doesn't help things.

At this point is it realistic to concede that injectibles will not work for me? I know there is still the implant route but I'm not sure I want that at my age.

If a concentrated QuadMix (remember, all of these formulations can be prescribed more or less concentrated by increasing the amount of Prostaglandin, Papaverine, Phentolomine, and Atropine per milliliter) doesn’t get you an erection then injections are not likely to work for you. That is about as strong as it gets.

Have you combined wearing a cock ring with taking an injection? Are you taking daily cialis or Viagra when taking an injection? I found both of those things (ring and pills) helped my shots work better.

When that stopped working I got an implant. I couldn’t be happier. You are only 67. Seems way too earlier to just throw in the towel as a sexual man. Even if it is just for masturbation I find the stiffness of my implant feels better than a floppy penis.

Are you married or dating? If so, what do they think? Any interest in sexual intimacy?

I'm married. No I have not tried a cock ring but it never gets really hard enough for that. I have not tried taking viagra along with injections. I suppose I could try that.

I struggle with the implant idea because my wife has never been all that enthusiastic about sex. I'm not really sure that she's all that put out by the way things are.
